Avid readers of Fab US will already be aware of this High Street/Designer collaboration which they previewed last month. Today the long awaited pieces by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Threeasfour hit the stores in the US but here in the UK we'll have to wait one extra day!
The line includes variations on the classic white button down shirt which you can view on the website right now. I have my eye on the cut out crisp white dress and 3/4-sleeved top by Phillip Lim. What do you think of the collaboration?

Mark your Blackberry calendars - Gap Design Edition, Take Two makes its much-anticipated entrance tomorrow, April 15. Cutting-edge women's white shirts and dresses, designed by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Threeasfour, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and more, will be available both online and in stores.

Last year jewelry lovers and men were neglected, this year Philip Crangi has whipped up black and white resin cuffs, and Michael Bastian has created a men's white shirt.

Sneak Peek! Gap Design Editions With Phillip Lim and More

The newest crop of Gap Design Editions are going to be in stores before we know it: April 15 is only a few weeks away! For this round, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Threeasfour all riffed on the classic white button-down ($78-$88), and Philip Crangi whipped up black and white resin cuffs ($45). I still wear the Rodarte Design Edition top I picked up last year; it's definitely not your typical white shirt. But I have to ask: Should the GAP be enlisting these designers to take on a different wardrobe staple? I would have loved to see what this group could do with a more affordable LBD. Nonetheless, for those who missed the Design Editions the first time around, get ready to pounce!

On Our Radar: Gap Design Editions With Phillip Lim and More

Last year's Gap Design Editions invited Rodarte, Doo.Ri, and Thakoon's to rework the classic white shirt, and this year we'll see what 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, Philip Crangi, and Threeasfour can do.

For the collection, which debuts in stores April 15, Phillip Lim created four pieces: a tie-neck shirt, a bell-sleeve ruched shirt, and a layered-sleeve top, all $78, Band of Outsiders concocted a patchwork tunic ($88), and Threeasfour designed a camisole ($78) and a cutaway dress ($88).

The Design Editions will also incorporate menswear and jewelry this year, which is where Michael Bastian and Philip Crangi come in. Bastian produced an epaulet and a Western shirt for men, both $78, and Crangi came up with such looks as a white or black wide resin cuff ($45). Sounds exciting - I loved the collection last year!

Emma Bunton and Peaches Celebrate Children's Champions

Host Emma Bunton was joined by lots of celebrities for the Children's Champions 2009 Awards at London's Grosvenor House last night. Peaches Geldof took time off from her Fashion Week jetsetting to attend the ceremony, which honours people who work with children. Danielle Lloyd also went floor-length and managed to smile, having revealed this week she was a victim of domestic violence. My girl Bella UK wants to know do you love or hate Danielle's colourful eye shadow? Gabriella Cilmi's cute tie dress increased her fashion credentials after she was one of the worst dressed at the Brits. Tell Fab UK who you think was best dressed last night.

Eastenders Scoops Seven Inside Soap Awards!

Eastenders was the big winner at the Inside Soap Awards last night, taking home seven of the gongs including Best Soap! Lacey Turner won the Best Actress award for the third year in a row, while the soap also took the Best Bitch and Best Bad Boy awards for Charlie Brooks and Larry Lamb, whose award was presented by his son George. Coronation Street also did very well, taking home five awards including Sexiest Female for Michelle Keegan and Best Young Actor for little Alex Bain! Hollyoaks and The Bill also took home an award each, while Emmerdale was left with nothing. Kara Tointon won the best dressed award, while three of the stars all turned up in similar black sequinned dresses - Ali Bastian, Brooke Kinsella and Loose Women's Sherrie Hewson sparkled last night. Fab Flash: CFDA Announces Nominees For 2009 Awards

The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced the nominees for the 2009 awards and it's filled with some of our favorite designers. Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, and Jason Wu will be vying for a womenswear award while Calvin Klein Collection’s Italo Zucchelli, Michael Bastian, and Scott Sternberg for Band of Outsiders compete for the menswear accolade. The CFDA will also be honoring First Lady Michelle Obama with a special Board of Directors tribute. Winners will be announced on June 15 at the CFDA gala held at the Lincoln Center in NYC. May the best designer win!

This Just In: Vipp and Helena Christensen Team Up For Charity

Danish design company VIPP and supermodel Helena Christensen have teamed up to hold a charity auction of Vipp pedal bins that have been given a fashionable makeover by fashion, design, art, and entertainment leaders. The bins have been made over by the likes of Bono, Michael Stipe, Mario Batali, Michael Bastian, Simon Doonan, Frederic Fekkai, Karim Rashid, Jason Miller, Todd Oldham, Alice Temperley, Mena Suvari, and more, and will be sold in a silent auction benefiting the Food Bank For New York City and Chernobyl Children’s Project International. An installation of the bins will be on display for public viewing and pre-bidding at The Conran Shop in New York through Thursday, Sept. 18, when an evening auction event will be held at the Winston Wächter Fine Art Gallery. Last night in New York City, the who's who of the fashion community gathered for the announcement of the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards nominations.

Akin to the fashion Oscars, the actual 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards ceremony will take place at the New York Public Library on June 2, and the nominated designers for the top awards will be judged on both their Spring and Fall 2008 collections.
