I initially didn't believe this was real, but if you're a New York Botox user who's trying to cut down on the cost of your ongoing injections, there's a new service that might be right up your syringe: the Botox Bank.
A clinic called SmoothMED is now running its own Botox accounting operation, where you can buy virtual units of Botox at a locked-in price. The idea is that you can get exactly the amount you need instead of paying by the area (which tends to cost more than the per-unit price).

Robert and Cortney Novogratz founded their own design powerhouse, Sixx Design, after sort of accidentally learning they had a knack for renovating derelict homes and turning them into fantastically unique, high-style abodes. Neither was trained as a designer or architect, but their skill is undeniable. And you might say, their design style is influential.

$11.8 million is a lot of money. A lot of money. If I had that kind of money, I would most definitely buy myself a beautiful spread, and hire a fancy decorator to fill it with killer décor.

Oooh if only I were a millionaire! I just stumbled across this historic Greek Revival home for sale in Upstate New York (Kinderhook), on the market for $1.9 million, and I've died and gone to heaven. On the National Registry of Historic Places, the property, called Crow Hill, was built in 1839 by American General Charles Whiting on more than 30 acres on a hill overlooking Kinderhook Creek, with views of the Catskill Mountains.

Like it or not, the cupcake craze is still so, so far from over. On the heels of frozen frosting shots, cupcake cars, and Twilight cupcakes, a new concept emerges: Cupcakes for dudes. The Village Voice tipped us off to New York's Butch Bakery, which refers to itself as "where butch meets buttercream." The empty cubicles at the now-defunct Gourmet sure did mark the end of an era. Yet there's at least one silver lining to the magazine's sad ending. Gourmet's exhaustive cookbook collection has found a safe haven at New York University's Fales Library.

We've always been huge fans of New York chef and restaurateur David Chang: He was Sugar's pick for Best Restaurant Chef of 2008. By fusing innovative flavor combinations and haute kitchen techniques with casual dining, the Momofuku overlord revolutionized the restaurant scene in America.
What's most refreshing about Chang, however, are his irreverent demeanor and unapologetic opinions.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of its celebrated chicken noodle soup, food company Campbell's has really used its noodle. Yesterday, the 140-year-old company launched a bold campaign called "Slurp" to get consumers to think about its staid soup in a new way.
To promote the fact that there are 32 feet of egg noodles in every can of its chicken noodle soup, the corporation partnered with ad agency BBDO New York and Traction Creative.

The Gramercy Park townhouse of the late fashion designer Abbijane Schifrin is on the market for $8.75 million, and it's truly a dream. The five-story 1855 building sits on a delightful, tree-lined street and looks quite prim from the exterior, with a pair of 21 Club-esque jockeys and a cast-iron gate. But inside the house is dressed with glitzy gilt walls, bright turquoise and pink paint, and Mediterranean-style arts and crafts tilework — a drastic deviation from what passersby see.

Camila of High-Heeled Foot in the Door is at it again! This time the DIY expert and interior designer conquered her young sister's apartment in Chelsea, NYC, which is shared with two roommates. Communal living spaces often pose a problem, as each roommate has her own tastes, and recent grads often can't afford to be spending their hard-earned mula on décor.
