What I particularly love about this dress is that the silhouette is playful and ethereal, yet the dark color scheme and animal print bottom make it appropriate for an evening event. Michelle threw on a some matching accessories — a black bangle, cocktail ring, some hoop earrings — and called it a night.

One shoulder dresses are never far from the red carpet but this awards season it seemed they were particularly prominent and I can't help but notice the variations popping up all over the High Street. On the red carpet, Anne Hathaway wore a beautiful red Marchesa one shoulder dress, Hilary Swank opted for a black Versace and Katherine Heigl wore a red Escada gown.
However, the High Street's take on the trend is much more fun with shorter lengths and an array of colours.
