Trend Alert: Classic Red Lips at Paris Fashion Week

When I think of French high fashion, I always imagine a beautiful woman with her hair pulled back wearing a perfectly tailored black outfit and strong red lips with a touch of black eyeliner. This classic Parisian look wasn't far off from what we've been seeing on the runways of of the 2010 Spring Paris Fashion Week Shows this week. I spied this look on the models at Emanuel Ungaro, Christian Dior, Devastee and Vivienne Westwood.

Fashionable Celebs' Focus Falls On London Fashion Week

While we spent much of last week watching the stars line up along the runways at New York Fashion Week, this weekend London Fashion Week kicked off, bringing out a cascade of celebrities a lot closer to home. During the days there have been shows including Issa, TopShop Unique, Mulberry and more - check out FabUK's coverage of the clothes - and famous faces such as Alexa Chung, Peaches Geldof, Leigh Lezark, Olivia Palermo, Nicola Roberts, Roisin Murphy, Paloma Faith and so many more have been out to watch them. Kate Moss caused some buzz as she sat in a rather large hat alongside Sir Philip Green and his daughter Chloe at the TopShop show, leaving at the end with her man Jamie Hince.

Stylish People Party at the Serpentine

The Serpentine gallery in London's Hyde Park held it's annual Summer party as some of London's most glamorous folk gathered together for a few glasses of champagne! Amongst the party goers were many models including Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin O'Connor and Lily Donaldson along with classic faces Jo Wood and Bianca Jagger. Sneak Peek! H&M Fashion Against AIDS Collection

H&M is no stranger to philanthropy. Like in the past, the retailer has collaborated with major celebrities to fight AIDS. This year, the likes of Estelle (left, whose tee says Life is too short, have sex, be safe), Katy Perry, Dita von Teese, Roisin Murphy, and Cyndi Lauper have lent their drawing skills to sassy t-shirts whose 25 percent of sales will be donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects.

"The designs have a real '80s feel to them. Fighting AIDS is always of great importance, and H&M is overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and the commitment from each and every celebrity involved in this collection," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M head of design. The tees hit your local H&M's DIVIDED department May 28.

Fab Con: Roisin Murphy

As today is about all things Irish I thought I'd celebrate the most stylish lady from the emerald isle: Roisin Murphy! This style maven made her name in fashion last year. She attended all the big shows wearing an enviable wardrobe with pieces by PPQ, Gareth Pugh, and Preen.

Roisin bravely wore Gareth Pugh way before Beyonce did, even donning his designs for a single cover shoot.

She revealed that her biggest style influence comes from her Grandma. "She was never seen without her red lipstick or without her hair done. In the winter she would parade around in a full-length mink coat with leather gloves."

She added that as a child she wasn't always so glamorous. "When I was about nine and old enough to dress myself, I would swing wildly from being an absolute tomboy to ridiculous frilliness."

Sienna And Skins Stars Take On Sunday At LFW

Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah showcased their Autumn/Winter 2009 Twenty8Twelve line at London Fashion Week on Sunday, taking the traditional walk down the runway at the end for guests such as Erin O'Connor, Alexa Chung and Skins star Kaya Scodelario who sat next to Alexa in the front row! At PPQ's infinitely more colourful show Alice Dellal, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe modelled clothes for an audience including Nicola Roberts. It wasn't just all girls, though - ex-Skins star Nicholas Hoult (who played Kaya's older brother) was also a fixture at a couple of Sunday's shows, attending the Aquascutum and Jaeger London events.

Gorgeous Guys Join Front Row Beauties at NY Fashion Week

Bryant Park was the place to be over the weekend, with dozens of celebrities descending on the shows of New York Fashion Week. Usual suspects Mischa Barton, Milla Jovovich, Sarah Jessica Parker and Roisin Murphy took their places in the front row, while Fashion Week devotee Kanye West had some male company for a change at the Calvin Klein Menswear show, sitting alongside the gorgeous Jared Leto and Chace Crawford. Faces from our side of the pond enjoyed the Lacoste show: we'll no doubt see Will Cameron, Lily Collins and Dasiy Lowe back in the UK for London Fashion Week on Friday. My girl Fab UK has the lowdown on the catwalk clothes and Bella UK wants to know which makeup look is most wearable.

All the Glittering Winners at the Elle Style Awards

A whole host of fashionistas were honoured at the Elle Style Awards in London last night. TV Star of the Year Alexa Chung hosted the event, which saw Freida Pinto take home Actress of the Year and Joanna Page collect Gavin & Stacey's Best TV Series Award. Elle readers chose Courtney Love as their Woman of The Year, and she revealed backstage that she'll be launching her own collection in the near future. Matthew Williamson presented Sienna Miller with the Style Icon gong, and Thandie Newton gave Mickey Rourke the Actor of the Year Award. Fab Flash: Roisin Murphy to Hit the Catwalk

Irish pop sensation Roisin Murphy is no stranger to a catwalk show. In September she attended shows at London Fashion Week trying out lots of unusual pieces alongside classic chic ensembles. She even tried Gareth Pugh for size way before Beyonce got in with the British designer.

Today it has been revealed that Roisin's interest in the Spring shows might have been because she was gaining tips as it was announced that she will appear on the catwalk. Designer Alexandre Vauthier will head to London next week for fittings with Roisin ahead of his debut couture show next month.

Vauthier is currently the creative director at Lilith and has previously worked with Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier. What do you think of Roisin appearing on the catwalk?
