When Alex Curran stepped out in these leggings earlier in the month I was slightly horrified. But now having taken a step back and realised that she was tackling many trends head on, I'm not quite so appalled!
They'd look best with heels (like Alex demonstrates) but maybe with a longer top or structured jacket.

Just when I thought someone magically popped the fashion bubble, we are back in bubble trouble. Designers and celebrities alike can't get enough of bubble hems. To be truthful, this is a look only a slim gal should attempt and heels lessen any negative bubbling of the body.

Last weekend's pajama party was overflowing with popcorn and fun. The girls and I had a blast sipping champagne as we watched teen flicks from the '80s and reminisced about the good old days. I know it sounds corny, but we even played truth or dare.

If you thought that you had to go to Selfridges to get a great range of jeans, think again as Topshop opens a premium denim area. The flagship Oxford Circus store from August will stock jeans by the likes of Sass & Bide, J Brand and Dittos to name but a few.
There are also plans for capsule collections designed with some of the top denim brands for the autumn months.

We've chatted about pleats. We've oogled over ruffles. What do you get when you combine the two textural forces?

All the razzle and dazzle of the Cannes Film Festival has me begging for all that glitters. Silver sparkles, in the form of beads and sequins add a cool, not costumey, feel to clothes. Although I love to play dress up too, so if you are feeling costumey — for say a glamorized Grey Gardens — look to John Galliano's Spring collection for inspiration.

I have already told you about cat print t-shirts and for Earth Day last week I showed you some of the best eco tees but when I spotted Kate Moss in this cockerel print t-shirt I couldn't resist showing you some more. There are so many great versions available and even designer versions are well under £100. You will find that the quality of cotton varies greatly but obviously the designer equivalent is the best and will hold it's shape for the longest.

Fashion is targeting breast cancer in a whole new way this time: tie dye. Sass & Bide has lent its exclusive tie dye tank dress ($170), to Net-A-Porter.com as part of the retailer's third installment of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
Breast cancer is a topic that hits close to home for Sass & Bide co-founder Heidi Middleton, who was diagnosed with it in February 2007.

While big sis Paris wore next to nothing for her Vegas birthday bash, Nicky Hilton opted for a classier ensemble with her Sass & Bide bow dress. The mix of silver accessories gives the look a relaxed feel. Some girls would be intimidated by a sexily dressed sister, but Nicky seems comfortable being the cute and covered-up sibling.

Once in a while a runway show brings a smile to my face. Sass & Bide took a sad story and turned it into fruit punch with their return to the runway Fall collection. The show was dedicated to a friend of theirs who passed away from cancer.
