Noel Fielding, Julian Barratt and the rest of The Mighty Boosh cast helped Stella McCartney switch on the Christmas lights at her London store last night! Dressed in drag, Noel and Julian performed songs with the rest of their Boosh band, but — as you can tell — they weren't wearing Stella's clothing line. The woman of the night was, however.

Last night, Stella McCartney hosted her annual Christmas lights event at her Bruton Street store. This year, Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt of the Mighty Boosh had the honour of turning them on as they put on their gladrags for the event! Stella received support at the party from her sister Mary, and celebrity pals Twiggy, Carly Lawson, Louise Redknapp and Jamie Redknapp.

This week the gossip is more specific as it is reported that she has been in talks with Stella McCartney. The two have similar principles as Leona once spoke about how she gave away a Burberry handbag because it was made from leather.

Stella McCartney's first ever childrenswear collection landed in Gap stores across the globe earlier this month and has already been so successful that they've snapped her up for another.
The British designer who had previously had a sell-out womenswear collaboration with H&M, created on trend yet practical items for kids which adults wanted for themselves. The best selling item from the line was a military jacket for boys.

As expected, Robbie Williams joined his old Take That band mates on stage at the Royal Albert Hall last night as part of the Children In Need concert. It was the first time in 15 years Robbie had performed alongside Howard, Mark, Gary and Jason, and he was understandably emotional and was in tears. Although Robbie and Take That didn't perform a song as a five-piece, they did sing together in the show's finale performance of "Hey Jude" alongside Paul McCartney and the other acts who performed on the night, like Leona Lewis.

Nudes have been a big trend throughout the Summer with many celebrities stepping out in the neutral shade. It looks set to continue through to the Spring as many of the major design houses featured the shade on the catwalk last month. From Chanel to Burberry to Valentino, the muted tone was used in a variety of different ways.

The 2009 Glamour Women of the Year awards in NYC celebrated the industry's most powerful women. Rihanna went for high drama, but Stella McCartney played it nonchalantly cool. The designer walked the red carpet in a look from her Resort line: a purple silk frock, a cropped black collarless jacket, and black pumps.

Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support.
