Hollywood has a new bag obsession and its name is the Yves Saint Laurent Roady (From $1,195 to $1,495). You know, the one Christy Turlington is showing off in the Fall ads.

Everyone from Kate Beckinsale to Kylie Minogue, Mary-Kate Olsen to Leighton Meester, Tilda Swinton to Rachel Bilson, and Selma Blair to Freida Pinto has already made it their arm candy. The sassy Katy Perry owns the black version with the metal chain insert detail (left). Formerly popular YSL bags like the Muse, Downtown, and Uptown have had more flair, but the Roady is classic and that means it will be a long-lasting friend.

My upcoming Euro trip prompted me to search for an inexpensive bag I can tote comfortably. I'm stoked I discovered this Deux Lux Drawstring Bucket Bag ($68) because it's two bags in one. It can be worn as a backpack or a shoulder bag, and it looks good both ways. Super. I also love the tassel detail. I'm going for the navy color, but it also comes in black and coral. OK, I don't know how Luna Boston got its hands on this exclusive Rebecca Minkoff 3-Zip Morning After Clutch, ($295) but I think I need it. Let me break it down for you. The size fits everything I need for a night out and the color, dubbed Purple Haze, is the same color as my Mini Cooper. Coincidence? And the three zip detail and chain handle? Swoon. The price isn't crazy ridiculous so I guess there's really nothing stopping me. Done and done. Oh, it also comes in teal and black . . .

Kate Moss continues to live la vida luxe. The Super was spotted at Club 55 in St. Tropez, and though the scenery is amazing, I can't stop staring at her bag: the Sofia Coppola For Louis Vuitton Suede Asphalt Bag ($3,730). I took notice of it weeks ago when I attended a Louis Vuitton soiree, but it has truly come to life in the arms of Kate. Not surprising. It's soft, the color just right, and the duffel-style ideal for jet-setting. Swoon, double swoon.

We all know Nina Ricci delivers amazing clothes but did you know the fashion house also creates comparable handbags? Take for instance this divine Nina Ricci Pony Bag ($2,800) from the new Ondine line. OK, with the exception of celebs - Rihanna was spotted donning the same exact style and Uma Thurman in a similar version from the same collection - and other money-making moguls, no one can really afford the hefty price tag. However, we can appreciate the fine design. I'm lusting over the sleek pony hair texture and chain handle. The best thing about is that it's simultaneously sassy and sleek. Functional and fabulous? It doesn't get any better than this . . .

British label Preen has launched a collection of handbags for Spring. My main crush is this Preen Roxy Bag ($650). Look at it; does it resemble any other handbag you've ever seen? That's why I'm in lust.

Here's the lowdown: one side of the bag is woven leather, the other is plain; there is a main purse and a small purse that zips onto front of the main one; and there's an optional wrist strap too. Versatile, utilitarian, and unique. As far as I'm concerned, that's all one can ask for in a man, er, bag.

It's been a good - no, great - week for Topshop. After all, the long-awaited NYC store finally opened to the public. To continue the hype is this cute-as-a-button Topshop Leather Chain Handle Cross-Body Bag in Turquoise ($50). There isn't a thing I don't love about it. The tiny size, the chain handle, lovely color, price, and the fact that it's cross-body, make it nothing short of Fabworthy. Throw it on over a cute floral dress or denim cutoffs for maximum sweetness.

While Beyonce did some shopping at Patricia Field in NYC, I did some major staring at her . . . bag! Is she carrying Diane von Furstenberg's Slouchy Gold Metallic Hobo ($995)? She sure is. I love the big slouchy shape and the gold metallic detail. It has a glitzy and ethnic vibe all at once. The brown leather strap is dope, too. It spiced up her outfit, that's for sure. Now if I only had $995 to spare.

It's been a while since we featured a crazily expensive designer bag. Makes sense, it being a fashion recession and all. Well, that and the fact that bags haven't exactly been inspiring lately . . .

Just because we can't buy a pricey bag right now, doesn't mean we can't ogle over one, right? Check this Celine Blossom Pocket Tote ($1,800). It's a slightly brighter version of the one Emma Roberts has. I love that it's bright yellow, but tempered by the brown handles and the beige top. See? Ogling is harmless.
