Trendtotting: Designer Diaper Bags

You may have gone from the walk of shame to doing stroller strides, but if you refuse to give up some of the luxuries you acquired as single woman there's always high end diaper bags. Used so frequently, it is easy to see why some ladies invest in a swank version that mimics their pre-baby handbags.

Rebecca Minkoff, who made a name for herself with her Morning After bag, has introduced the latest designer version diaper bag with her Knocked Up bag. Featuring a coated canvas interior, the bag has straps that attach directly to strollers and the usual compartments for bottles, wipes and snacks. Best of all, the bag can continue to be used once your lil one is potty trained and walking from place to place. Minkoff isn't the only designer venturing into baby land. Fab Flash: Gwyneth Apologies For Fur Ad

Many of you were opinionated about the recent Tods ad where Gwyneth posed amongst fur but this weekend she has apologised claiming she didn't know it was real. Responding to complaints from PETA Paltrow explained,

"That was awkward, because I do not wear fur at all. It was a day-long photoshoot on a boat near Capri, and there were all sorts of poses with all kinds of clothes – none with fur. During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulders. I didn't pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur I assumed it was fake fur but did not ask, so it's my fault. I know it's not a great excuse."

Gwyneth and her husband Chris Martin are famous for their eco style of living, and Paltrow is close friends with eco designer Stella McCartney, whose clothes she often wears. The explanation has been described as "hollow" by director of Animal Aid, Andrew Tyler. "She's had months to set the record straight and only excuses herself when cornered. It seems it's all the fault of a stylist."

What do you think of her apology? It does seem that stylists are being given a hard time recently, with Kate Winslet recently blaming the same source. Do stylists need to be more careful or do celebrities need to be more aware and take responsibilities for their own actions?

Agyness shows off her Louis Vuitton tote at TOD'S Art Plus Film Party

Last night in East London TOD's hosted an event at Whitechapel Art gallery with Henry Holland to raise money for the Whitechapel’s Expansion Project and Education Programme. Obviously Henry's BFF Agyness Deyn was on hand to help raise funds as they both sported items from the latest House of Holland collection. Agyness was carrying a tote from the Louis Vuitton Spring collection and wearing a Jonathan Saunders for Topshop dress (£50). Do you like it when Aggy wears her hair pushed forward, or do you prefer is spikey?

Trend Alert: Zippy Handbags

Zippy handbags are a little polished, and a lot purposeful. Really: can a big have too many zippers? Ok, I guess one can but I find not enough bags have nice looking zippers, to trap all our girlie glosses and gadgets. These new bags manage to look both sporty and sophisticated. So zip it down, gloss it up and ring a ding ding.

Why does Kylie Minogue look so chipper in this picture? Could it be because she is wearing sunny, happy winter yellow? I would not have guessed it was January in gray London by the looks of this picture. I have been noticing quite a few celebs wearing this bright hue - it goes fantastically with black, grey and denim. Need a winter pick me up? Throw on this color for size. Oh, and did you all see my Look Book post where I'm wearing my fave yellow pumps? Part nautical, part pop, this is a great trend to transition into Spring 2007. Gwyneth Paltrow's hookup with Tod's for its Winter ad campaign was so successful, the duo teamed up yet again. Creative director for Tod’s Derek Lam said: "Gwyneth effortlessly embodies the spirit of the international woman with timeless elegance and modern flair - the perfect representation of the Tod's woman." Photographer Mikael Jansson chose the location, a restaurant in the heart of London’s financial district, because the honey and caramel palette complemented the brand. It's interesting to see Gwyneth so tan and preppy, because she's usually fair and funky. She looks healthy and happy. Do you approve of the latest Tod's ads? Renee Zelllweger is a red carpet pro, but seeing her on the streets is fun, too. The actress was spotted in Hollywood looking part casual, part dressy, and all cool. This Just In! Gwyneth Is Tod's Fall Muse

We're not the only ones obsessed with Gwyneth as of late. Remember I clued you in to her mini Tod's film that was filmed in the south of France? That was only the beginning of a fine friendship, as the house of Tod's has decided they want a new blonde star in their Fall print campaign. Sorry, Sienna Miller! According to Diego Della Valle, president of the Tod's Group, "It had to be Gwyneth Paltrow. She's the perfect ambassador for the brand ± modern, charming, with a strong sense of family. To me, she's the contemporary embodiment of Audrey Hepburn." Congrats Gwyneth!
