Topshop for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

La mode continues to be charitable this season as the latest Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign is launched at Topshop. This season a jersey vest has been created with a heart print that reads 'Love to Love'.

The item launches in-store and online on 29th March and will retail for £16 (with £5 from every vest sold going to the charity) and will be available in black and white. Charity pin badges and friendship bracelets will also be available.

The campaign originally launched in 1996 and has raised over £10.5 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s vital research, campaigning and education work. It's such an easy (and stylish) way for you to do something charitable. Will you be buying this vest?

Trend Alert: Posh Piping

The first whiff of warm weather has everyone in a tizzy - even Kate Moss! The Super was spotted in Paris looking colorfully chic in a nautical-inspired ensemble. I love how she ditched her per-usual black separates for a striped top and red jacket complete with posh piping. This slick trimming can be found almost everywhere via skirts, pants, jackets, dresses, shorts, and bags. Like Kate, I prefer my piping up top. The navy trim on her punchy jacket provides the ultimate eye-catching contrast.

Get Your Hands on a Celebrity Frock

Late last year, Topshop decided to use their close circle of celebrity contacts for good by setting up a dress hire service for the festive period with profits going to Help the Aged. This meant you could jazz up your office party with a frock previously owned by the likes of Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson or Nicola Roberts (her dress is pictured) amongst many others.

Now that the party season is just a distant memory, they have decided to raise even more cash for the charity by auctioning off the wears. Next Tuesday, Kerry Taylor will host the auction in London, but if you're not able to get to the capital you can take part online. Prices are expected to be from £80 upwards and it's all for a good cause. You can find out more about the sale here.

Is it Spring yet? My closet seems to think so. I'm already done wearing tights, but I am cheating with textured or unique leggings until we get about 10 degrees warmer . . . Most of my March musts are Spring-ready and freakin' adorable. I'm going for an easy feminine vibe that sometimes veers nautical, sometimes naughty. As always, it's a hodge podge of picks. Beauty Byte: Topshop to Launch Beauty Range

Exciting news girls! Topshop has already rocked our world with affordable fast fashion and now it looks set to do the same with makeup. Back in August I told you about this too good to be true buzz, and now it's here! News emerged on Friday in industry bible Women’s Wear Daily, that the chain will be launching two cosmetic ranges from May. Makeup artist Hannah Murray has been consulting the chain and used the products to create the look for the recent Topshop Unique show during London Fashion Week. She said,

"It’s everything you’d want in a range, but in a bold and confident way. It comes from people who are very passionate about fashion."

The full collection will sell in most major Topshop stores and online, and will include makeup, nail polishes and skin tints. There are plans to update the range four to six times a year with new on trend fashion shades. The store also plans to host pod casts of makeup tutorials from Murray. Some of the shades in the collection include The Big Smoke, a fashion-forward (cement coloured nail polish), and lavender coloured eyeliner. Prices will run from roughly £5 for an eye pencil to £13 for skin tint. Stay tuned for updates and product photos soon!

Topshop's New Makeup Line Is Coming to the States

It's been nearly 15 years since Topshop dabbled in the makeup biz, and now the clothing chain is back in action. Starting in May, the British retailer will be selling a range of cosmetics at its top 30 stores, its New York shop, and on its website. The line ($8-$20) will consist of color palettes inspired by Topshop clothing and accessories, along with a sheer Skin Tint and Skin Glow in lieu of foundation or powder. In addition, there will also be four to six seasonal collections throughout the year that will include a trendier, slightly more adventuresome selection. As for the packaging, it's pure Topshop all the way - bold, polka-dotted, and doodly. "It’s playful, almost like the Topshop girl drew it herself," designer Lizzie Dawson told WWD. Trend Alert: Pouff and Grandeur

Forget the Frizz-Ease girls, high volume pouffiness is emerging as one of the hottest hair trends for Winter. This week, London's catwalks have been packed with teased hairstyles. Topshop Unique fell in love with the idea of "savage woodland brownies", creating giant frizzy manes for its models using a combination of tonging and backcombing. Then there was Vivienne Westwood, who with hairstylist Peter Gray, created cotton candy style hair to match the dramatic collection. Paul Costelloe, meanwhile, sent exaggerated Edwardian updos down the catwalks. This can only mean one thing - it's time to get backcombing!

Look for Less: Miu Miu Cutout Sandals

There are so many great designer shoes available this season in different shapes and sizes. Whilst I lust after a lot of them, it's not always affordable to buy the real thing, so here is a great alternative.

Ten of My Favourite Looks from Topshop Unique

Topshop remains as the only High Street store on the official fashion week schedule, but yet it never fails to attract a celeb packed front row. Sitting in front of me were a very giggly Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Remi Nicole whilst just down from them were Nicola Roberts and Olivia Palermo. The collection stuck to it's wild theme throughout yet was surprisingly wearable. Thick faux fur and wool adorned coats in natural shades with many of the models being style with wolf head pieces. Trend Alert: Light Lace

Soon, I'll be switching out my lace noir for some light lace. I can already picture this feminine texture paired with denim skinnies for a hardcore '90s vibe or with nude heels and a girlie counterpart for the ultimate ethereal aura. I love the crisp white hues, but pretty creams, light grays, and lilacs are also calling my name. Spring, here I come . . .
