I admit, this New York & Co. Belted Cable Sweater Vest ($28, originally $40) doesn't look as cozy, but for such a major price cut, it will do. It has the same serene hue and can be wrapped around your body for warmth. It also comes in wine, black, and heather gray. Alloy has a gray version that's really nice, too. For a tinge of severity, I would wear it over rockin' liquid leggings and booties.

The transitioning weather has me in a bit of a funk. See, one minute it's hot, and the next minute, it's nippy. This Wet Seal Faux Leather Studded Vest ($15, originally $23) would have came in handy the other day when sporadic gusts blew up my Summer dress. It's not that expensive to start with, but there's nothing wrong with saving a little dough. Who can resist those rad little studs?

This weekend, I'm taking a day trip to beautiful Napa Valley. It's going to be scorcher, the weatherman predicted a heatwave - don't you love Indian Summers? The plan is to drive out there in the a.m., have a nice brunch, and start wine tasting. OK, some outlet shopping might be involved. Haute Hippie Elongated Feather Vest: Love It or Hate It?

I'm a huge advocate of vests, but I'm afraid this Haute Hippie Elongated Feather Vest ($695) would ruin my outfit instead of enhancing it. Am I being way harsh? It almost resembles a feather boa, but thicker. I must say though, the dusty pink color is just lovely. I think it would have been much more wearable if it was cropped. What do you think?
