Costs range from $225 for the lizard, $385 for the ostrich, and $515 for the crocodile. For further personalization, your Roady can also be monogrammed inside with initials, free of charge. Season after season I create beauty-related gift guides because I personally love gifting beauty products to my family and close friends. I realize that perfumes, makeup, nail polish, skincare and haircare items are quite personal purchases, especially when it comes to colours and scents. On the Market: Yves Saint Laurent's Villa Mabrouka

French designer Yves Saint Laurent, who passed away in June 2008, is known for his iconic fashions. However, the designer also had a discerning eye when it came to the world of real estate. His Moroccan home, Villa Mabrouka, or "House of Luck," is currently on the market, and I am swooning over the house's location, style, and interior design.

Interior Design notes,

The Moroccan home represents a collaboration between two of the great French aesthetes of the 20th century: Laurent, who turned pantsuits and safari jackets into haute couture, and Jacques Grange, the only interior designer ever to receive the Légion d'Honneur, France's highest decoration. Perched on a cliff overlooking the coast of the Spanish region of Andalusia and the Strait of Gibraltar, the 9,688-square-foot home rests on nearly two acres of grounds landscaped by Madison Cox, featuring soaring palms, Italian lemon trees, and extensive lawns. A heated swimming pool was excavated into the mountain rocks on which the estate stands, while a nearby pavilion was designed by architect Stuart Church.

Are You Excited for a YSL Movie?

Last Summer we sadly lost one of the greatest names in modern fashion history as Yves Saint Laurent died of brain cancer at his home in Paris. His is widely credited with reinventing womenswear and is arguably one of the members of fashion's holy trinity (along with Coco Chanel and Christian Dior). His life and work are so intriguing that French signer Alain Chamfort and songwriter Pierre-Dominique Burgaud are working on a musical about his life. It will include Yves rise to fashion fame from his early days working at Christian Dior. Pierre Bergé has already heard some of the songs and commented, "They are very good. They are moving." Are you excited to hear about these plans, or is it too soon?

Best of 2008 Winner: Favorite Luxury Gadget Accessory

Where would we be without a little fantasy? They're the anti-necessity, but I love to look at luxurious accessories, whether I could ever afford them or not.

I had a lot of faves this year, but my absolute fave coincides with your pick for favorite luxury gadget accessory of 2008!

The good looks of YSL's Downtown Computer Case beat the competition with 28 percent. It still hasn't come down from its $1,800 price point, so it'll remain an image on a screen for me. A very sexy image on a screen.

Biggest Headline of 2008: Rest In Peace, Yves Saint Laurent

It was a sad Sunday. I remember waking to the news of fashion great Yves Saint Laurent passing June 1; throughout the week the fashion world mourned. We put together a tribute slideshow, but that will never do the couturier justice. Looking back on Fab, before June 1, we featured Yves Saint Laurent on a regular basis. Most being new school YSL, under the direction of creative director Stefano Pilati, all being rooted in the man who popularized menswear for women, beatnik, and safari style. Even before then, Yves was thrown into the fire at Christian Dior, upon Dior's death, and kept the house afloat at the ripe age of 21. This man was arguably the first couturier to delve into ready-to-wear. His Rive Gauche stores sold his RTW creations, and he became an international sensation with actress Catherine Deneuve and icon Loulou de la Falaise favoring his clothes. Like many risk-takers, Yves's collections were often pooh-poohed by the press - but ended up setting the trends. Yves retired in 2002. Many of today's designers cite YSL as being an influence, and the designer left behind countless friends and fans. Here are some of our favorite stories about the late designer and the house:

Celebrity Style: Lily Allen

Yesterday Lilly Allen was spotted amongst a sea of balloons shooting her new music video in Bedfordshire. I've found out that her fabulous and flirty bow dress is part of the 2009 Spring/Summer PPQ collection and her outrageously high platform heels are Yves Saint Laurent. YSL Goes Bow Beautilicious

This season oversize bows have replaced floral blooms as the hair acccessory of choice for the cool set. From the catwalks at Sportmax where the models wore floppy, satin creations to structured preppy bows at Marc by Marc Jacobs or satin ribbons at Luella; the coolest locks are sporting this trend for autumn. Now YSL have got in on the act with their new Christmas beauty collection.

The French brand's holiday offering features a plethora of bow embellishments. I especially love the chic lip duo and the elegant makeup palette (£43), which is certainly getting pride of place on my wish list! The lip duo (£39) is inspired by the famous Bow bag created for YSL by Stefano Pilati.

An on-trend raspberry-red lipstick and a sparkling pink gloss come complete in a small gold-coloured charm in the shape of a bow. There's a tiny mirror and mini applicator brush too so it's ideal for adding a touch of glamour to your makeup bag.
