When it comes to picking out a sexy gown, Irina Shayk and Beyoncé appear to have the same taste. Irina was the first to don her black Roberto Cavalli cutout dress at the All Is Lost premiere at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. Then, last night, Beyoncé chose the same plunging gown in white for the 10th anniversary party of husband, Jay Z's 40/40 club in NYC. Irina's gown was definitely on the more revealing side, while Beyoncé's look blended sexy with ethereal. Both ladies clearly let their gown do all the talking — and really, that's all they needed. We couldn't help but notice the flashy arm candy in each of these casual celebrity style moments. No, not a single one of these style setters' looks screams "look at me!" — and yet we can't seem to avert our eyes from the bright pop of neon accompanying each otherwise-understated outfit.

It seems Miranda Kerr, Jenna Lyons, and Jamie Chung are on to a very clever bit of styling (go figure!). Miranda kept it simple in denim and a button-down, but added a brilliant citron Michael by Michael Kors bag, for a trip to the airport. Jenna added life to a button-up and trousers with a bold Proenza Schouler PS11 bag (note the perfectly nonchalant crossbody styling), and Jamie Chung furthered her street-style prowess with a neon chain-strap bag in tow. After reviewing all three brightly accessorized ensembles, we're left with one thought: all it takes is a great bit of citron arm candy to liven up a whole look. Designer Zac Posen flexed his creativity recently with the creation of a 24-karat gold dress, designed in cahoots with Magnum Ice Cream and debuted with a short film at the Tribeca Film Festival starring Caroline Correa and Joe Manganiello. Now, all that glitters is both gold and ready to be worn by you — a version of the original $1.5 million dress became available for rental on Rent the Runway this month and will be rentable until the end of August. In celebration, we chatted with Zac about celebrity dressing and who he's following on Instagram these days.

POPSUGAR: Which celebrities have you had the most fun dressing?

Zac Posen: Everybody, especially when they've been able to collaborate and come to the studio and have it become meaningful. Obviously working with good friends like Lena Dunham or Claire Danes or Martha Stewart has great meaning to me because they're people I admire and I've known for awhile. I try to think of the people I work with as creators rather than celebrities.
