It's not our fault that there is only one month left of Summer! But can we look on the bright side? It's time to talk about the spectacular shoe trends from the Fall 2013 runways, which means they are hitting stores right about now. Of course there were the overarching styles, like pointy-toed pumps, ankle-strap heels, and Winter boots, but we also saw many microtrends that are definitely worth noting. Silhouettes like the sandal boot popped up at 3.1 Phillip Lim, Kenneth Cole, and Kenzo, while the power of the menswear-inspired loafer reigned supreme at Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch, and Marni. For the print-lover, designers like Roberto Cavalli and Erdem offered up sweet florals and powerful animal patterns, and the edgy-cool boots at Versace and Chanel spoke to our inner style renegade.

The Piece: Kiel James Patrick Seafarer Collection
The Price: $98 each
Why We Want It: Borrowing from the boys isn't exactly what you'd call a new styling trick, but with the newest shirts from Kiel James Patrick, you won't have to borrow anything from anyone. The Seafarer Collection comprises two men's and two women's oxford cloth button-collar shirts covered in tiny embroidered maritime signal flags. They're probably the preppiest and most forthrightly nautical pieces of clothing we've seen all Summer — but then again, what else should you expect from a preppy, forthrightly nautical brand? These shirts are brilliant, but what we love most about them is that both boys and girls can wear them in exactly the same way: paired with chinos, deck shoes, a pair of Clubmasters, and a gigantic smile.
Everyone else, submit your looks, and we just may feature you as a POPSUGAR Fashion street-style star of the day!

Typically preppy Reese Witherspoon inspired us when we packed for the Maine coastline, and the navy and red look she chose for a recent LA outing was no different. She was casual but pulled together, tucking a tee into boyfriend jeans and accessorizing the look with chunky gold jewelry, pointed-toe pumps, and Louis Vuitton's newest statement bag.
Jessica Alba and her daughters showed off their front-row style at the Ralph Lauren Girls Fall 2013 show. Jessica went spotted in pretty polka dots while her two daughters — Honor and Haven — went for matching navy sundresses perched front row next to their stylish mom. Watch to find out even more.

It's hard not to look stunning if you're Oprah Winfrey, who's been dressing distinctly regal while promoting her new film The Butler.
On Tuesday, Winfrey talked with Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts about the film, which is based on the life and 30-year career of White House butler Eugene Allen, wearing a purple dress by Escada. Winfrey both stars in and helped produce the film with its director, Lee Daniels, and said she felt a deeply personal connection to the story.
"My mother was a maid, my grandmother was a maid, her mother was a maid, and her mother was a slave," she said. "I wouldn't be who I am, sitting where I'm sitting, had it not been for them."
