After she made an obligatory pit stop at Disney World and played a few holes of golf (when in Florida!), we chatted up the supermodel about her trip, her Victoria's Secret beginnings, and one Blake Lively.
I first fell in love with football style t-shirts almost a decade ago. At the time, they were painfully hard to find, a shopping trouble that resulted in me beaugarding an ancient sorority jersey unearthed in the recesses of my mother's closet. It was way too big and boxy (with a not-so-chic high neckline) but it was satisfying enough.
Until, that is, street style shots of cool girls wearing striped-sleeve tees started appearing. I was off and running again, looking for the perfect laid-back top to pair with skinny jeans, flared minis, and silky trousers. It's still more challenging to find than most items on a shopping list — smart tactics include resorting to browsing the men's department. Because we know there must be more of you out there equally as obsessed with these chic snaps of Karolina Kurkova and Dree Hemingway, click on! We've got you, girl.
Who better to tell you what to pack for your next sandy getaway than the woman who runs the hottest boutique at the coolest hotel in Montauk? Bethany Mayer — owner of the Surf Bazaar boutique, located within The Surf Lodge — spends as much time on the beach, surfing some of the country's best waves, as she does running back to NYC to take meetings for her Surf Bazaar line and the collaborations she does with designers like Rachel Comey. So, here are our five favorite tips from Mayer
The piece: Topshop Elephant Print Skater Skirt
The price: $56
Why we want it: We never underestimate the power of a great statement piece, so we weren't about to pass this printed skater skirt by. The quirky graphic elephant pattern isn't anything like our floral or striped prints we already have — so it'll make print mixing with them even easier. It's also extremely wearable: the skater shape goes flirty with a pair of heeled sandals to girlie with ballet flats, and cool and laid-back when you slip on a pair of ankle-boots. Sure, an elephant never forgets — but you won't soon forget the styling power of this little find, either.

Proving an eco-friendly handbag can look like something you'd find on Madison Avenue, rather than something you'd find at a roadside stand, is the Gucci for the Green Carpet Challenge. The luxury brand partnered with Green Carpet Challenge creator Livia Firth and the National Wildlife Federation to make the same gorgeous accessories you're used to seeing, but this time with guaranteed zero deforestation. The bags, seen above and below, are made with leather from the Brazilian Amazon that is totally traceable from source to finished product while also being ruled by Gucci's regular quality standards.
The meeting of two worlds can be a beautiful thing. See shopping information below should you want to show your support (and update your accessory closet).

This week in the world of stylish social media snaps, we caught up with Rachel Zoe and Alessandra Ambrosio by the pool, Bar Refaeli backstage, and Karlie Kloss in the MOMA's Rain Room. The model also met up with her newly engaged pal Behati Prinsloo at a Victoria's Secret event, while fellow catwalker Chanel Iman lounged on the beach in a very tropical locale. Poppy Delevingne struck a sexy pose on set, and her pal Alexa Chung laid down for a power nap, while Zac Posen hit the talk-show circuit to promote his stint on Project Runway.
