Alexa Chung is known for her quirky, cool ensembles, and yesterday she styled an outfit that we'll definitely be emulating. For the launch of the British Designers Collective in England, she selected a floral-print, A-line skirt from Celine's resort 2012 collection. In true Alexa fashion, she put a playful spin on her look with a "je t'aime Jane" top, that actually plays homage to another iconic style-setter, Jane Birkin. See how this It-Brit expertly toughened up her florals in today's Fab Flash! On Allison McNamara: H&M top, Banana Republic necklace.
Rachel Roy Shows a Springy Way to Don Your Denim Shirt
It's no secret that we love our brights, especially now that it's officially Spring! That's why we can't wait to re-create the bold yet balanced look Rachel Roy donned at the NYC screening of Intruders. The designer styled a denim Current/Elliott shirt with cropped yellow trousers of her own design and a pair of Manolo Blahnik snake-print pumps, then accessorized with a few gold cocktail rings and leather wrap bracelet. Her bold nail color and two-tone Celine bag took her Spring-worthy ensemble to new heights. Copy this fresh ensemble for a sun-soaked brunch by tucking your denim button-down into a pair of cropped yellow pants, then finish the look off with snakeskin pumps. Or for a more casual vibe, try a pair of lace-up sandals.

Miranda Kerr Revives the Denim Jacket With Chic Flair
Miranda Kerr was spotted in NYC with her adorable pup Frankie, donning a white blouse, Stella McCartney trousers with tuxedo-inspired side stripes, and her tried-and-true Isabel Marant booties. But what took the model's ensemble to cool heights are her denim jacket and Rag & Bone fedora. Oh and what's this? Miranda has a new Celine bag? While we love all her dark red purses, we're excited to see her with something fresh. For your upcoming dog-walking days, style a white button-down with side-stripe black pants and a jean jacket, then grab a pair of ankle booties and a black leather tote. Don't forget a brown fedora and Ray Ban aviators in case you run you into those pesky paparazzi.

Celebrity It Bag Alert: Miranda Adores Dark-Red Purses
Many celebs are toting green purses around town, but Miranda Kerr has been pretty loyal to her dark-red bags. There's the Céline shopper tote, which she takes everywhere from lunch to running errands to the airport, and the Sofia Coppola-designed Louis Vuitton satchel. While bright-red bags add a fun pop of color to any ensemble, dark-red hues lend even more fashiony flair. They're great for colder months but also work for Spring and Summer. Step inside to see various ways Miranda has been sporting her love of dark-red bags and to shop some of our favorites.
Spring Outfit Alert! Add Blush to Your Jacket Collection Like Fergie
Black leather jackets — been there, done that. But pink leather jackets? Super fresh. Just check out Fergie after touching down at LAX. She layered a blush leather jacket — snag a less expensive version here — over a paisley-print Pierre Balmain blouse and white skinny jeans, with black Fergie platforms, aviators, and her tried-and-true Céline bag. Come Spring, don a similar look by pairing a blush jacket — it doesn't have to be leather — over a black-and-white blouse, then finish it off with white denim and a pair of chunky black sandals.
Céline Fall 2012
Through her signature minimalist lens, Phoebe Philo brought forth a sportier chic with the season's call to volume on wide boxy coats and cropped leather jackets for Céline's Fall 2012 collection. There was a subtle departure here from Philo's typical stuff — though it may even be an exaggeration to suggest it's a deviation at all. Rather, Philo enhanced her usual minimalist-chic with a few bold pops of color and a little luxe texture. Shapes were wide and boxy in Céline's signature fashion, but we did get a taste of bold flavor on fuchsia-washed fur on a long coat and a puffed up sweatshirt-style top. The usual fare was a simplified, albeit volume-injected exercise in androgynous outerwear silhouettes, cropped pants, and slouchy track pants. In every pared-down piece, from the leather shells to the streamlined clutches each model had in hand, Philo honed her craft for an uncomplicated cool.
- Trends: Boxy coats, leather, color-saturated fur, colorblocking, minimalism.
- Colors: Blue, orange, black, white, pink.
- Key Look: The boxy navy car coat with brown leather lapels.
- Accessories: Wide oversize handheld clutches; white pointy-toe pumps.
- Who Would Wear It: Fashion's unfussy types.

Céline Fall 2012
In lieu of her usual runway show, Phoebe Philo — eight months pregnant with her third child — opted instead to show Fall 2012 Céline via two small showroom presentations. Despite the lighter crowd and the more intimate setting, the collection still packed quite a punch. The main message was volume — an idea Philo dabbled in for Pre-Fall — but here, it appeared full-on and in supersize proportions; coats were pumped-up to the max, ankle trousers were wide and pleated, sleeveless tops were geometric and boxy, and dresses had super-rounded shoulders and sleeves. Colorblock — the collection's other main element — was used to great effect in combinations of tomato, cobalt, navy, and camel.

In Love With . . . Miranda Kerr's Céline Tote
Even in the realm of celebrity closets (however expansive they may be), there are the items our favorite style setters return to again and again. Case in point, Miranda Kerr and her staple Céline tote. We've spotted the trendsetting model out and about from LAX to NYC with her luxe carry-all in tow. Not that we can blame her; the investment piece (which runs about $1,095) completes practically any look with easy sophistication — and happens to be the perfect complement to Miranda's classic-cum-cool style. While the same Céline bag may not be within budget, Miranda's styling efforts certainly make a case for snagging something similar. In Love With . . . Kate Bosworth's Céline Shades
There's one common denominator unifying all of Kate Bosworth's street style — and it's not just the fact that it's all crafted flawlessly. Topping off every perfect snap is a pair of killer shades — the kind so insanely cool, we had to know just where to find them. Turns out, Kate's selected Céline's awesome wayfarers ($239, originally $360), to lend the finishing cool-girl touch on just about anything. The proof is in this batch of artfully assembled looks — from a dressed-down day in Sundance (and even with a few flurries!) to a sunny LA stroll, these shades are a testament to the power of great accessories. In the market for your own pair? Get shopping before they sell out, or your best bet may just be eBay.

Celine Cancels Fall 2012 Runway Show
>> LVMH wants Phoebe Philo — who is pregnant with her third child — to take it easy. "A runway show is a very demanding and personal engagement for a creative director," Celine's chief executive officer, Marco Gobbetti, told WWD. "The objective is to simplify." Though the house hasn't confirmed an alternative plan, the Fall 2012 collection will now most likely be presented in a more informal setting. Celine will maintain its current spot on the Paris Fashion Week calendar; Philo — who is currently "designing the collection with her team" — is expected to attend.
