Hailee Steinfeld hit the Met Gala red carpet wearing a one-of-a-kind dress by Donna Karan Atelier. Look closely and you'll see that the bone-hued tea-length dress is actually made out of leather, and adorned with oxidized antique gold safety pins and studs. To further her punk flair, the Romeo and Juliet actress completed her look with Eddie Borgo jewels, a shimmery gold Jimmy Choo clutch, and matching sparkly shoes. Green eye shadow and a tough 'do finish off her look — are you feeling it?

Kate and Matthew Pair Up For the Star-Studded Hot Pink Party
Kate Hudson wore Ann Taylor and brought Matthew Bellamy with her to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's annual Hot Pink Party in NYC last night. The couple was joined at the charity bash by a Blumarine-wearing Elizabeth Hurley and Elton John, as well as fashion designers Michael Kors, Vera Wang, and Donna Karan. Kate was doing more than just walking the pink carpet; she also presented an award to Kay Krill, the CEO of ANN Inc., the parent company for Ann Taylor, where Kate serves as a brand ambassador.
Kate has been keeping busy in the Big Apple. She is currently promoting her new film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival next week. Despite Kate's work duties, she and Matthew did manage to squeeze in time with their boys in the city ahead of their gala date.
Donna Karan Fall 2013
Donna Karan went sensual for Fall 2013, wrapping her lithe models in sinuous jersey and decadent furs. The designer stuck to an earthy palette, showing a particularly strong section of deep chocolate brown. Coats and suits were structured with cape-like details, while dresses lay closer to the body, accented with bold bib necklaces. Evening took the overall theme up a notch, with intricately pieced and draped gowns.

A Look at the '90s Spirit of DKNY That Opening Ceremony Is Bringing Back
If there was even a shadow of a doubt about the return of the '90s, Opening Ceremony's new project with DKNY should obliterate it.
br>
The retailer will reissue 15 of DKNY's archival pieces from the early '90s, including t-shirts screen printed with the New York skyline and the DKNY logo, a colorblocked jumpsuit, and a cropped puffer jacket. The garments will be available in Opening Ceremony boutiques and on its website this Friday, priced between $145 and $665.
br>
"DKNY was a pioneer of streetwear fashion in the Nineties," said Opening Ceremony's Carol Lim in an interview with WWD. "We have been longtime fans of the brand and were very excited to bring back select, quintessential styles that feel fresh even today."
br>
That freshness may owe a debt to the overall comeback of the '90s in fashion and in culture. MTV resurrected its groundbreaking TV show House of Style in August, and the cult brand X-Girl announced that it would return to the US just this week. When you factor in the resurgence of grunge on the Spring 2013 runways — articulated in the mix of plaid and florals shown by designers like Phillip Lim and Dries Van Noten — there's no doubting that the dream of the '90s really is alive.
br>
That said, part of the target demographic for this collaboration — including the star of its campaign, Cara Delevingne, born in 1992 — probably weren't wearing adult-size clothing when these garments were first introduced. For those readers who don't remember the spirit of Karan's '90s designs — or who just want to take a trip down memory lane — a look back at some of DKNY's ad campaigns from the '90s, here in the gallery.

Golden Globe Awards: Debra Messing
The Golden Globes have begun — are you ready? Debra Messing just hit the red carpet wearing a black strapless gown by Donna Karan. The ruching detail gives her look an old-school look, while double stacked bracelets and oversize statement earrings add a slightly rock 'n' roll touch to her look. What do you think about her look for the evening — love it or leave it?

Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2013
Donna Karan has had her late husband, the artist Stephan Weiss, on her mind a lot lately, so it's no surprise his work influenced her Pre-Fall 2013 collection. Karan's recent book about Weiss and the New York exhibition of his work — both titled Connecting the Dots — could very well share their name with this offering, which is predicated on round shapes cut from neoprene, jersey, and stretch cotton. The best outerwear pieces here were generous, cocoon-like, and featured rounded shoulders. Circle skirts appeared more than once, either attached to dresses or worn with well-tailored blazers. The color palette stayed serious, sticking to black, white, navy blue, and brown, but Karan had fun with adding sheer panels to a few skirts and sculptural pleating on some of her cocktail dresses.

All the Resort 2013 Ad Campaigns, So Far
After presenting the Resort 2013 collection at Versailles, it's only fitting that Chanel should expand on the theme with an ad campaign that channels the chateau's most famous resident: Marie Antoinette. Dressed in decadent layers of ruffled pastels and styled with the requisite courtesan makeup and big hair, Cara Delevingne plays the ill-fated queen with plenty of pomp and sass — and we think it all comes together quite nicely. Click through to see the entire Karl Lagerfeld-lensed campaign, plus all the recently released Resort ads — including Miu Miu's supermodel-packed outing — here, in our ever-growing campaign gallery.
