When an eveningwear designer like Elie Saab puts on a couture show, the expectation is that it's bound to be beautiful. But the label's Fall 2014 Haute Couture show wasn't beautiful, it was breathtaking. That's because the repertoire of lace dresses was enhanced this go-round with opulent touches like fur stoles and glass beads.
Of course, the elegance of the show should have come as no surprise to showgoers, including Nina Dobrev, who arrived to a scene set with blue backlit crystal chandeliers. That color carried through to a navy, sea foam, rose, and sometimes all three color palette — an indulgence of hues that reinforced the theme that picking from amongst so many beautiful choices is a near impossibility.
