Sneak Peek! Isaac Mizrahi Live at QVC

Isaac Mizrahi is Mr. QVC these days.

Isaac Mizrahi is Mr. QVC these days. Isaac Mizrahi Live, which debuts Dec. 4, just released some of its multicategory goodies. Studded berets, sequin tees, toggle coats, and bright handbags, all retailing from $32 to $300, are some of the offerings. Also on the menu is tartan-printed cheesecake. You hear that, Yum?

“I love my product. I believe in my product. If I do plates, if I do bedding, which I did, if I render cookies, I do it in the same way that I think about a couture dress," Isaac said. The designer is quickly becoming the jack of all trades. "As I build my brand, I think about Martha Stewart and her very upward trajectory. She has always been a great inspiration to me." Fabulous.

Fashion Industry Designs Houses for Womens' Charity

You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their home—Vera Wang's is covered in rhinestones and tulle, Isaac Mizrahi's is perfectly printed in vibrant pink, Diane von Furstenberg's is dripping in leopard and lips, and Sean Combs' comes equipped with a helipad.

Although not real interiors, these papier-mâché houses were created by fashion celebrities coming together to raise money for the Women In Need charity. Each hand-decorated piece will be displayed in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and auctioned on charitybuzz.com on November 9th. Check out the gallery below to find out what the houses decorated by Jennifer Lopez, Oscar de la Renta, Justin Timberlake and Trace Aylaya, and the Beckhams say about them.

The Hidden Treasures of QVC and HSN

Shopping online feels as natural as purchasing in-store, but buying clothes from a TV-based retailer still seems a little unconventional.

Shopping online feels as natural as purchasing in-store, but buying clothes from a TV-based retailer still seems a little unconventional. Designers, however, are increasingly venturing onto the small screen to hawk their wares. Isaac Mizrahi, always one to explore new ways of getting products to customers, inked a deal with QVC over the Summer, while Naeem Khan is set to debut his premiere collection for HSN on October 28. We took a quick look at some HSN and QVC products that are available now, from established designers like Erin Fetherston and Kenneth Jay Lane.

Ashley Olsen, Robin Givhan, and Isaac Mizrahi Talk Skinny Models, Celebrity Designers, and Runway Diversity

>> Last night at the 92nd Street Y in New York, Ashley Olsen, the Washington Post's Robin Givhan, and Isaac Mizrahi gathered to chat with Glamour's Cindi Leive about the "Future of Fashion."  Ashley, dressed in a long dress — a production sample from The Row — told Glamour backstage: "I'm actually not very comfortable with public speaking, and that was something I told myself I'd work on — getting out more and doing some public speaking."

Her "number one teammate," sister Mary-Kate, and boyfriend Justin Bartha were in the audience to cheer her on as she doled out tidbits like The Row's clients are an average age of 50, she thinks girls with small budgets who want to be fashionable should shop vintage, and she loves her Toms shoes: "So comfortable." Isaac Mizrahi helped keep the tone light — at one point, he took of his shoes to show off his toes, painted a "day-glo pumpkin" color, but the panel did delve into some heavy topics.

Fab Ad: Liz Claiborne, Fall '09

Liz Claiborne creative director Isaac Mizrahi has taken his girls back to the streets.

Liz Claiborne creative director Isaac Mizrahi has taken his girls back to the streets. For Spring it was Georgina Stojiljković in the city; for Fall it's Coco Rocha in the country. The Canadian model looks so royal, so mature in her long pleated plaid skirt and plaid shirt. I'm especially taken by the vibrant autumnal hues. And look: Coco's super-red hair sort of matches the roofs of the houses. Equally dazzling in color is the shot of Coco in a grocery store (below). What do you make of Liz Claiborne's Fall ads? If you fancy the plaid-happy clothes, shop them now.

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Chloe Sevigny

Chloe is a favorite off the red carpet, but she's also a winner on.

Chloe is a favorite off the red carpet, but she's also a winner on. Her white with baby black polka-dots, one-shouldered sheer Isaac Mizrahi gown stands out as being unique. A strategically placed gold broach adds personality, while more gold touches give her a '70s feel. What do you think?

Hair and Makeup Pictures From Days 8 and 9 of 2010 Spring Fashion Week

It was the final day of Fashion Week, and while I'm sad to see it go, I'm excited to discover how many of these hair and makeup looks will make the transition into the mainstream. These final two days were absolutely lovely, with more old-guard designers like Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Oscar De La Renta injecting an elegance that nicely hedged the experimental looks from younger designers. Click through and see what some of the most established houses, along with some of the hottest new ones, had to offer.
