Lea Michele attended a Big Brothers Big Sisters gala in Beverly Hills, and while we're normally used to seeing the Glee star in plunging necklines, this time she went a different route in this Michael Kors one-shoulder studded dress ($2,695). On bottom she sported black patent t-strap pumps by Christian Louboutin and kept the rest of her red-carpet look pretty minimal. If you don't yet own a black one-shoulder dress, consider adding Lea's exact one to your wardrobe, or if the price tag is too steep, we also love this one from Lauren Ralph Lauren ($78, originally $130).
Gwyneth Paltrow showed skin in a cutout little black dress designed by Michael Kors at last night's Golden Heart Gala, benefiting the God's Love We Deliver charity, in NYC. She was joined at the charitable event by other Michael Kors-clad celebrities like Karolina Kurkova, a newly brunette Brooklyn Decker, and Anna Wintour. Michael himself had the honor of sitting between Bette Midler and Anna Wintour during dinner. Gwyneth took the stage to introduce Glee creator Ryan Murphy, who made a speech and even asked Bette if she'd make a cameo on Glee — to his relief, she said yes! Michael was also honored at the fete for making a generous gift that will allow God's Love, a nonprofit that delivers meals to the seriously ill, to fund a new building.
Celebs have been loving white footwear for some time, but now it's all about the juxtaposition between an all-black look and a stark white shoe. Rebecca Romijn donned a black sheer minidress with crisp white floral-embellished sandals in LA, Gwyneth Paltrow sported a black cutout Michael Kors dress with white Jimmy Choo pumps in NYC, and Ciara went for a black blazer dress over tuxedo pants and white ankle-strap Givenchy sandals in LA. Whether you prefer a little black dress, a black maxi skirt, or pants, the next time you get dressed in head-to-toe black, consider finishing off with white shoes for the chicest colorblock effect.
It was a chic who's-who battle last night, with Elle's annual Women in Hollywood celebration holding court in LA and the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Gala taking place in NYC. Where the latter is concerned, we were treated to a gorgeous mix of red-carpet looks courtesy of Gwyneth Paltrow, Brooklyn Decker, Karolina Kurkova, Olivia Munn, Chanel Iman, and more. The common denominator on the style front? Everyone donned their Michael Kors best. The iconic designer was honored, along with Glee creator Ryan Murphy, at the charitable event, providing a solid reason to dress the part. We love Karolina's perfect juxtaposition of feminine chantilly lace against a wintry long double-breasted wool vest. Gwyneth didn't disappoint with her body-con cutout LBD and white pumps. And Brooklyn's brocade meets origami-cut shorts set makes us want to jump on the texture train 10 times over. As for the rest of the impeccably dressed crowd, just keep clicking to see who wore what.

It model Karlie Kloss has been strutting her stuff in the most fabulous looks on the New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 catwalks, but we're also digging her off-duty outfit as she exited the tents: a white peplum top, dark-wash skinny jeans, and black strappy sandals. On her arm she carried not one but two bags: this Michael Michael Kors tan satchel ($398) and this Feed tote ($130). Karlie's look is super chic and simple to re-create — just pair your peplum top with skinny jeans, statement shoes, and a fabulous bag. Shop similar pieces below, including Karlie's exact bag, to get her latest look.
Both Jessica Alba and Olivia Munn were in NYC, doing their own thing, but they were clearly on the same fashion wavelength in their green sheath dresses. Jessica wore her knee-length, square-neck Narciso Rodriguez dress with silver mirrored pumps and a black-and-white bag, while Olivia sported a green Michael Kors sheath dress with a back slit with black-and-gold ankle-strap sandals. Let these ladies inspire you to add a green sheath dress to your wardrobe if you don't yet have one. You can wear it with high-heeled sandals or colored pumps for evening, with a blazer and simple pumps for work, with booties and a coat during Fall, and with flats and a leather jacket for a day out. Shop our favorite green sheath dresses below to get in on the celebrity-approved style.
Michael Kors aims to please, and with Spring 2013, we're positive you'll be a happy camper. We think front-row starlets Camilla Belle, Katharine McPhee, and Marisa Tomei would agree, too. Kors took a sporty-meets-classic approach, and with it, a bevy of mod prints attached to versatile silhouettes came marching out. It's all about bold primary colors, a healthy dose of stripes, clean lines, and more wearable (read: covetable) pieces than you'll know what to do with. Be sure to stick around for the final set of runway looks, as gorgeous black gowns (some with even sexier bodice cutouts) make a welcome appearance. It's definitely worth the watch.
It was all about the angles at the Michael Kors Spring 2013 runway show, as the designer presented a collection full of streamlined, sporty silhouettes done in a bold primary palette of yellow, kelly green, bright blue, and red. Show notes began with a reference to "geometric glamour" and ended with "architectural polish" — the first part seemed to draw upon '60s mod shapes, while the latter was an ode to '90s minimalism. The final trio of sexy black gowns would look fabulous on front row celebs like Camilla Belle and Katherine McPhee.
