SAG Awards: Jordin Sparks
Jordin Sparks stepped out in a gorgeous Grecian-inspired draped gown by Nicole Miller. She let her deep purple, body-conscious dress do all the talking, which she then complemented with a sleek updo. Although we couldn't catch a glimpse at her shoes, we stole a peek at her jewelry: classic diamond studs and a cocktail ring provided the sparkle. Are you on board with Jordin's draped look?

Nicole Miller Comes Back From the Future
Nicole Miller's Spring 2013 beauty look was a little spacey — and that's a good thing. The designer's collection was inspired by all things futuristic. Once you see this runway look, you'll be looking forward to Spring (and beyond).
The look: A plum smoky eye, galactic nail art, and Avatar braids.
The inspiration: The future and technology.

Nicole Miller Spring 2013
In an epic display of opposites attracting, Nicole Miller crafted a Spring collection built upon a fashion contradictory of what she deemed "all of her good girl and all of her bad girl." To put it simply, the designer juxtaposed each look with an equal balance of rocker chick versus girlie, light versus dark, and soft versus tough. A sheer, floral peplum top wasn't complete without its acid-washed jeans counterpart, a pretty white sundress got the edged-up treatment with a leather jacket, and even the most delicate of fabrics came fraught with busy, digitally enhanced prints. With '80s surrealism as Nicole's primary print inspiration and her admitted penchant for "digital nature, sci-fi, and techno," you can expect a lineup exemplary of that edgy abstraction meeting art-world cool. Get your first look at Nicole Miller's Spring 2013 collection here.
- Trends: High-low hems, '80s-inspired digital prints, tough leather, and geometric accessories.
- Colors: Pink, blue, dusty brown, black, taupe, and gray.
- Key Piece: We can't resist a slick juxtaposition of leather and florals; thus, the flowy, flower-printed chiffon dress-and-leather jacket combo proved to be a standout.
- Accessories: Thick-frame sunglasses, geometric drop earrings, strappy metallic sandals, and caged sandals.
- Who Should Wear It: The youthful, edged-up spirit of this collection instantly make us think of Miley Cyrus, Shenae Grimes, and Emma Roberts; these starlets perfectly capture the carefree "good girl vs. bad girl vibe" we saw on the runway.

Nicole Miller Debuts a New Skin Care Line

Nicole Miller has long been the go-to clothier for chic cocktail dresses, but now she's hoping you'll dress your skin up in her wares as well. Today, the designer debuts Nicole Miller Beauty, a collection of skin care designed to address everyday hydration and brightening needs. Miller has had a skin care line before (with Aussie mail-order giant Melaleuca), but this new collection was conceived in collaboration with longtime friend Dr. Cap Lesesne. "We wanted to create something for women that wasn’t strictly for acne or strictly for antiaging," Lesesne said. "Having practiced medicine in New York City for almost 30 years, I know what damage can be caused by not using effective skin care." As for Miller, who counts the Glow Serum ($65) as her favorite product, her best skin care prescription is simple and sound: "Use moisturizer religiously and never get a sunburn." And that's advice that'll never go out of style.
How Jimi Hendrix and Marianne Faithfull Inspired a Fashion Week Beauty Look
From makeup to nails, things got totally groovy with Nicole Miller's psychedelic-inspired beauty look. In describing the makeup palette for the show, makeup artist James Kaliardos (for MAC) explained, "It's inspired by the planets, by Jimi Hendrix, Marianne Faithfull, flower-power . . . and burning of the bras." See more about how the look was put together, and get your own groove on along the way.

Nicole Miller Fall 2012
Topping her graphic prints, fringe-trimmed dresses, and flares with floppy hats, Nicole Miller zeroed in on '70s boho-glam for Fall 2012. There was barely a look that didn't hit the runway with a hat to top it all off, adding to the drama and unifying every style with a nod to that confident '70s woman. But it's not just a single trend of the decade we see — Miller's collection offers a taste of all the essential elements in velvet flares, striped and colored leather jackets, bold abstract prints, and fringed dresses and tops you could see on any of the era's rocker chicks.
- Trends: '70s, fringe, colored fur and leather, florals and abstract prints.
- Colors: Burgundy, black, brown, yellow, and green.
- Key Piece: The velvet flares, floppy hats; the orange and yellow shift with black cutout sleeves.
- Accessories: Black, tan, and leopard-print hats, leather messenger bags, jeweled clutches, and buckled or lace-up ankle boots.
- Who Would Wear It: The girl with an appetite for drama in the everyday; the boho rock chick.
Obsessed With . . . America Ferrera's Red-Hot Look
America Ferrera provided irrefutable evidence that a) the right dress can awe on its own, and b) curves are brilliant. She wore a red Nicole Miller dress to the premiere of Chicago in London, forgoing big accessories (save for a sexy pair of red peep-toe platforms) in favor of highlighting her gorgeous curves. Obviously, we went straight to the
Nicole Miller online shop to see if we could get the same dress as it's ideal for upcoming holiday parties. We found similar options that are just as flattering; here's what we recommend:
OK, now for the best part! Our new PopSugar Shop has an exclusive Nicole Miller deal happening until tomorrow, so if you're serious about getting America's look, you can do it for less.
