There are some outfits that just scream Summer — and this is one of them. Community member MissLeaanne kept things classically preppy in her cobalt blue sundress with white polka dots and coordinating blazer. She playfully reinterpreted the classic pearl necklace with her pair of pearl-encrusted sandals, adding a bit of unexpected whimsy to her outfit, and then polished things off with a jolt of color thanks to her hot pink purse and matching arm candy.

Now that it's getting warmer outside, it's finally time to show off a little more skin, and we love how community member NetteVartanian cleverly worked her crop top into a traditionally ladylike outfit. Her striped jacked and mustard-colored pencil skirt served as the perfect framework for her nautical crop top, which she complemented perfectly thanks to a white necklace and neutral strappy sandals. This is that sort of look that will make you do a double take — and we feel it would be perfect for everything from brunch to a chic outdoor dinner.

We'll be the first to admit that when Summer hits, the last thing we think about doing is piling on the layers, but community member gumbootglam made a pretty convincing argument for exactly the opposite. Her black maxi got some extra life thanks to her leather motorcycle vest and necklace — two cool-girl add-ons that helped make her all-black-everything look that much more stylish. And for footwear? Black perforated sandals — perfect for spending the day out on the town.

Sometimes the best part of an outfit lies in the cut of the garment.
