Classic, comfortable, and quintessentially chic, the riding boot is the perfect complement to any Fall look. Indulge your style senses with Christian Louboutin's spike details for a subversive twist on a traditional silhouette, or step into Ralph Lauren's buckled, buttery-soft leather boots. Find your perfect pair right now.
The show may have been for New York Fashion Week, but inside Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 2014 presentation, it was clearly California. Having turned Pier 94 into a sandy beach and the runway into a boardwalk, the classic all-American designer evoked the active lifestyle of the Golden State with scuba, surf, and skater references. Cutout swimsuits, neoprene skirts, leather jersey tanks, and silk bowling shirts all got punched up with custom Hawaiian prints and a cool mix of saturated and sun-washed colors, à la the rust-red scuba suit with pops of bright orange overlock stitching, which just so happens to be inspired by boogie boards.
We loved Tommy's styling touches — unzipped and folded-over shorts and laceless wedge sneakers — as well as his runway soundtrack. From Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication" to The Beach Boys' "I Get Around" and "California Girls," we'll even admit that we New Yorkers got a little longing for that West Coast state of mind.
Channel the runways of Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren in preppy pieces for a look that ranks high on the Upper East Side. The essentials? Think crisp collared blouses, textural tweed trousers, and classic camel hues. Pair Suno's smart plaid trousers with a Peter Pan blouse and Tory Burch's iconic ballet flats for a chic work look, or make a statement in Missoni's gorgeous houndstooth coat. Smooth out every wrinkle and straighten your collar with all of our picks.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that just because Tommy Hilfiger announced a Surf Shack collection, replete with a touring bus, that it would mean slightly grungy, sand-crusted surfer dudes and dudettes. As one of the reigning champs of American prep, the brand has instead kept its chic country-club set and directed them toward the shore with a friendly pat on the back.
If you're in the LA area this weekend, then check it out for yourself at the bus, set to be parked at The Brig on Abbot-Kinney Boulevard in Venice (before moving on to Chicago and Toronto). And if you're not, then browse the wares online so you'll be fully prepared for your next trip to the seashore.
When it comes to all American, few brands are more red, white, and blue than Tommy Hilfiger. The iconic designer has fashioned an entire business around classic American style. That's probably why it's no surprise that Tommy Hilfiger just launched a second capsule collection with Disney featuring some of the most popular American characters of all time — the Muppets.
The limited-edition Spring/Summer collection — which just became available at Tommy Hilfiger and Macy's stores, as well as online at Children's Salon — includes an adorable collection of t-shirts and sweatshirts featuring the images of Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, and more wearing selected fashions from the designer's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The pieces are sized for tots from 6 months to 16 years old.
In a cute statement, Miss Piggy described working with the famed designer, saying, "Moi adores working with Tommy on the Muppets collection. Not only is he talented, elegant, and gracious, but he does all the work. All moi has to do is tell him what I think about the designs and Tommy takes care of all of it! Isn't that fabulous? Kermie also loves working with Tommy." She appropriately added, "I love the pieces with moi — they're so stylish, so now, so moi. I also love the designs featuring Kermie and moi — and especially the top that reads 'Miss Piggy 4 Kermit.' It never hurts to advertise your intentions, n'est ce pas?" We couldn't agree more, Miss Piggy!

Julianne Hough donned a bright red Carolina Herrera number to step out for the EIF's Unforgettable Evening event in support of the Women's Cancer Research Fund at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA last night. She was joined by a host of other stars for the charitable evening, including Chelsea Handler, Rita Wilson, Amber Valletta, Angie Harmon, and Lisa Kudrow. Big names from the fashion industry like Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, and James Ferragamo were also in attendance for the night out. Funnygirl Chelsea, who was accompanied by her boyfriend, André Balazs, was the life of the party as she made the rounds on stage and visited different tables throughout the dinner. Julianne and Chelsea are not the only stars to support the cause. Next weekend, Halle Berry and Julie Bowen will be among other A-listers to step out for the EIF's Revlon Run/Walk For Women in LA, which benefits women's cancer research.
Aside from her big night out, it was a relaxing week for Julianne, who joined pal Nina Dobrev in Miami over the weekend. Julianne and Nina donned bikinis for a relaxing beach getaway that included fun in the ocean and poolside lounging. Nina has been a supportive friend to Julianne, who broke up with Ryan Seacrest back in March, and the girls turned up at a Lakers game together right after Julianne's publicized split.
If you've gotten a glimpse of Tommy Hilfiger's Fall 2013 collection, then you can already see it's filled with plaids, houndstooth print, and has a polished prep-school feel — now we're giving you all the details on the lineup straight from the designer. Backstage before the show, we caught up with Tommy, who shared his Fall inspiration, favorite fashion decade, and modern-day fashion muses (like the gorgeous Zoe Saldana). Watch now for the full interview!
Jessica Alba and Drew Barrymore were joined by a host of other stylish celebrities last night when they celebrated the launch of Tommy Hilfiger's new West Coast flagship store in West Hollywood. Drew and Jessica both wore Tommy Hilfiger outfits as they worked the red carpet with the designer and his wife, Dee. Jessica's latest public appearance was much less dramatic than the one she made on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday when she took part in a celebrity kissing booth and revealed her recent health scare.
Other famous attendees included Katy Perry, Olivia Munn, and Julianne Hough. Julianne was back in LA after a busy few days of press for Safe Haven in NYC, and dropped by the event sans boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, who attended the Topshop/Topman store opening nearby. Despite two fashionable bashes taking place in the same city, there were many stars who managed to attend each. Julianne, Jennifer Lopez, Estelle, and Jessica Lowndes all squeezed both events into their schedules.
