A gal can never have too many dresses. That's my motto and I'm sticking to it. After all, they're easy, breezy, and give you instant polish. Now is the best time to invest in fun frocks — who needs layers upon layers of clothes when it's hot? I've hunted down the web's most interesting styles to make your sunny days as gorgeous as possible. Maxis, minis, ethnic, artsy . . . they're all up for grabs and they're all under $100. This Aqua Eyelet Ruffle Tube Dress ($88) can work on land and sand. Go on, dress up . . .
Fun Fab fact: I wrote my high school senior paper on graffiti art. I was obsessed with taggers, break dancers, Beat Street, Style Wars — everything old school. I still find the roots of the hip-hop underworld to be fascinating, even if I don't dress like a boy anymore. And Kerry Washington proves you can nod to the genre in style in her fresh Narcisco Rodriguez graffiti-inspired sheath. It may not be neon and paint-splattered, but this is high fashion's take on the urban motif. "Don't try this on your dad's stereo — only under hip hop supervision . . ."
Last weekend, I entertained my friends with my bowling skills, or rather, my lack thereof. After a late dinner, we headed over to the local alley for some midnight bowling. Once the clock struck 12, the bright lights turned off, the parents went home, and the big kids came out and played. Even though my score was under 100, I still had a lot of fun! I asked you to help me find a fun outfit for my bowling excursion. Let's see what you conjured up . . .
I started you off with these Billabong Sock Me Socks ($14) because I adore the zebra print!

Though I will be blowing my life savings on Matthew Williamson's collection for H&M, there are a few other things I am lusting for. Top of mind is my surf trip to Costa Rica later this month, so you will find a dope pair of workout pants, some beachy items, and a hot little bikini. Alas, city life until then, so some sophisticated items are musts, too. Summer is so soon . . . can't wait!

Whether you're a part of the surf culture, or just like to admire the boys, there is no look cooler than the beachy, fun-loving surfer girl. She can both ride epic waves and look hot while doing it. Clothes that look fresh and serve a function are key. A few things every surfer girl has oodles of: bikinis, board shorts, sundresses, sunnies, and sunscreen. Adopt this look with a spiritual approach; let your hair go au naturel, ditch heavy makeup, and just be beautiful babe and the sea.
Why buy a regular old bikini when you can get four for the price of one? You heard me, this Billabong, Designed by Lisa Kline, reversible bikini ($86), is multi-faceted. Mix and match to your hearts desire and this suit will always seem fresh. It comes in three different color options, though I quite fancy the purple.

If you're tired of my spendthrift tastes in expensive laptop bags (hey, I don't choose them, they choose me) then I have a nice little treat for you. Billabong's Carry On laptop tote is fun, floral — and under $40!
(We are in a recession, after all.)
I like that Billabong markets this tote as being for travel, as it would be great strolling through the airport with it, but I'd travel right to work with it, too.
And hey, bargain hunting still qualifies as retail therapy!
Being petite can make finding the perfect swimsuit quite a challenge. Don't get me wrong, having a petite figure can be lots of fun! Smaller bodies can get away with loud prints and fun cuts. Avoid wearing solid colors and stay away from too much fabric.
