Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers Reach a Divorce Settlement

Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers have reached a settlement in their divorce, three years after the BIRD Bakery owner filed, People confirmed on June 20.

Per court documents obtained by POPSUGAR, "The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court." They are now requesting "the court approve the agreement."

Reps for Chambers did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment and Hammer's rep could not be reached.

After 10 years of marriage, Hammer and Chambers announced their split on their respective Instagram accounts in July 2020, sharing a throwback photo from early on in their relationship. "Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents," the exes captioned their dual posts. "It has been an incredible journey, but together, we've decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage."

Hammer and Chambers were married in May 2010, and they have two children together: Harper Grace, 8, and Ford Douglas Armand, 6. "As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority," the posts read. "We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we're asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time."

At the time of their split, disturbing allegations surfaced that Hammer perpetrated violent abuse against women. This past May, the Los Angeles County D.A.'s office declined to file charges of sexual assault against the actor after a rape allegation in 2021, per Variety.

Speaking to E! in September 2022, Chambers opened up about her separation from Hammer, saying they were "in a really great place." She added: "We're committed fully and wholly to our children, and to being together as much as possible in a non-romantic way for our kids. Kids need their mom; kids need their dad. So there's nothing we won't do."
