Lily Collins's $125,000 Engagement Ring Has Reportedly Been Stolen

A spa day has seemingly turned into a nightmare for Lily Collins. The "Emily in Paris" star is reportedly the victim of theft after finding her engagement ring and wedding band stolen while spending the day at the Edition Hotel in West Hollywood on May 6. People confirmed that the actor had her rings and other items stolen from storage while she was enjoying the facilities at the Sunset Boulevard hotel. TMZ reported that there was no evidence of forced entry.

The 34-year-old married Charlie McDowell on Sept. 4, 2021, who proposed a year earlier with a stunning engagement ring. Jessica Flinn Allen, CEO and jewelry designer at Jessica Flinn, tells POPSUGAR that Collins's ring "is a pale pink, three carat, rose-cut diamond solitaire with bezel, which is set in a yellow gold band." Allen estimates that the ring is worth around £100,000 ($125,000).

While Collins has yet to comment on the theft, there's no doubt that a loss of something so beautiful and sentimental will be extremely difficult. Collins previously told "Live with Kelly and Ryan" that the engagement ring was "exactly what I would have wanted." She added on Instagram, "I've never wanted to be someone's someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife."

The LA County Sheriff's Department confirms to POPSUGAR, "On May 6th, 2023 a Burglary occurred at a West Hollywood Hotel located in the 9000 block of Sunset Boulevard. An Unknown Suspect/ Suspects entered the hotel and stole several items from a secured locker. The female victim is a well known Celebrity. West Hollywood Detectives are currently investigating this incident." Representatives for Collins did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment. See more of the stunning ring below.
