It's unclear where or when they first met, but their romance was short-lived, only lasting a few months. However, Watson isn't the only famous Emma that Overstreet has been romantically linked to.
Before Watson, Overstreet dated Emma Roberts, with whom he had an on-again-off-again romance from 2011 to 2012. After their split in January 2012, Us Weekly reported that Roberts "did everything possible to ice out" Overstreet, according to multiple insiders, even ignoring his text messages and leaving him waiting outside a Golden Globes afterparty. A source revealed that "Chord was waiting outside the CAA party at Sunset Tower waiting for Emma to come get him at the door, where he was overheard saying, 'Emma does this all the time when she doesn't want to see me.'"

News that Overstreet and Watson were dating first broke in March 2018, but a source told Us Weekly, at the time, that the two had been seeing each other longer than the public knew. "They've been dating for longer than people think. About two months," the insider said. "All of Chord's friends have known, but he doesn't talk openly about her." News of their relationship came weeks after the two were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles.
The two split in May 2018 but reportedly got back together less than a month later after they were photographed kissing in LA. It's unclear when they called it quits for good, but Watson was seen kissing tech CEO Brendan Wallace in October 2018, per People, indicating it probably happened before then.
Camelia Somers
Overstreet confirmed his relationship with Somers — who's also the granddaughter of "Three's Company" alum Suzanne Somers — in the music video for his song "Sunkissed," released on Oct. 1, 2021, where she starred as his love interest. However, reports of their romance broke one year before when People reported, via a source, that the two were dating. It's unclear when or how the two started seeing each other.
Overstreet and Somers keep their relationship pretty private, but the latter posts photos of them on Instagram every now and then. Her last snap of the couple was posted on Oct. 31, 2021, which she captioned, "@marshmellomusic and his biggest fan 🦄🦋🌸🍭🛼💖."
