The Best Way to Get Blueberry Stains Out of Your Clothes Is So Simple

Blueberries are such a yummy treat, no matter what time of the year it is. They're delicious when mixed with yogurt, on top of waffles, or even just by themselves. What's not sweet about them, however, is when they stain you or your kids' clothes. Fortunately, there are some tricks you can do to get out those pesky stains while still enjoying your favorite fruit.

One way to get out the stains is to soak the clothing in a mixture of 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of laundry detergent, and 1 quart of cold water for 15 minutes. Then, rinse the clothing with cold water. If you don't have 15 minutes to spare and are in a hurry, try mixing 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 2/3 cup of rubbing alcohol. Use a clean white rag to blot the stain until the liquid is absorbed.

If you're not home and therefore don't have access to vinegar and laundry detergent, try your best to act fast. Get as much of the blueberry off your clothing as you can and then run the clothing under cold water. If you have a portable remover, use it. My favorite that I keep in my purse at all times is Tide To Go.
