Pope Francis Shows Support For Public Breastfeeding, Urging Mothers Not to Worry

Proving himself an avid supporter of breastfeeding, Pope Francis has yet again showed his support for breastfeeding mothers, urging them to feed their fussy children without fear of judgment. "If they start performing a concert (by crying), or if they are uncomfortable or too warm or don't feel at ease or are hungry . . . breastfeed them. Don't be afraid — feed them, because this too is the language of love," the pope said at a baptism ceremony recently held in the Sistine Chapel. This invitation to breastfeeding moms adds to the pope's long list of controversial moves during his papacy and is a welcome change within the Catholic Church.
