Good news: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will be streaming on Apple TV+ for the 2022 Halloween season. In 2020, fans of the 1966 "Peanuts" classic were unable to watch the 25-minute flick on broadcast television for the first time in decades, but Apple TV+ swooped in to provide free viewing windows for nonsubscribers and will continue the tradition for 2022.

In the lovable Halloween special, Charlie Brown and the gang celebrate Halloween while Linus desperately hopes to finally be visited by the Great Pumpkin. The animated short film features costumes, trick-or-treating, and jack-o'-lanterns — all of the holiday's fun staples — alongside the famous "Peanuts" crew: Charlie, Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, and Linus.

  • If you're not a subscriber of Apple TV+, don't fret; you can still watch the Halloween special for free on the Apple TV+ app or on tv.apple.com from Friday, Oct. 28, through Monday, Oct. 31.

According to the PBS Kids Twitter account, the animated movie will not air on broadcast television this year, despite the fact that in 2021, the special aired ad-free on PBS and PBS Kids for just one night.
