Whoa, Gwendoline Christie Is a Walking Optical Illusion in This Iris van Herpen Gown

Well, hello there. Please pay no mind to the strange and concerning noise you just heard — that was just the sound of me literally yelping at the very sight of these photos of Gwendoline Christie on the red carpet at a movie premiere.

The Game of Thrones star stepped out at the BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday night and stunned in a custom "Suminagashi" ink dress designed by Iris van Herpen. The dress featured a sheer, mesh material at the top that was adorned with a white marble design that flowed to the bottom half and faded into a bright red color. The dress, which is a part of the designer's "Hypnosis" collection, essentially made Gwendoline look like a chic walking optical illusion. She finished the look off with a pair of scarlet Christian Louboutin pumps.

This isn't the first time Gwendoline has stunned in Iris van Herpen. Earlier this year, the 40-year-old attended the Game of Thrones season eight premiere event looking like a gorgeous abstract painting in a floor-length gown with a purple and gold cloud print. She's clearly no stranger to owning red carpets. Read ahead to see more photos of her gown from Wednesday night.
