Hailee Steinfeld Struts Through London in a Wildly Tall Pair of Cutout Platforms

Even outside of the Spider-Verse, Hailee Steinfeld has one superpower that would be useful in any dimension: walking in dangerously tall shoes. On June 2, she was spotted strutting back to her hotel in a sky-high pair of Marc Jacobs platforms after a "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" press day in London. She may not have been swinging from webs, but she was certainly putting on a balancing act as she made her way across the cobblestone sidewalk and into her waiting ride.

Stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn pieced together Steinfeld's full outfit: a leather shacket in hunter green and a tan leather cargo skirt. Beneath the skirt, she wore tan socks, creating a monochrome effect broken up only by the faux scuff marks on her boots, which revealed a chrome base underneath. In addition to being dangerously tall, the platforms also featured a strappy cutout design with three miniature buckles across each ankle. She completed the look with hoop earrings, a gold ring, and a half-up bun with face-framing pieces.

Earlier in the week, Steinfeld attended the "Into the Spider-Verse" screening in Los Angeles while wearing a floor-grazing beaded maxi skirt with an extreme thigh-high slit. She styled the Bally piece with a light-wash denim button-down and chunky gold jewelry, including a set of knotted earrings. On June 1, the actor also wore a semisheer Blumarine gown in gray while attending a screening of the film in London.

After watching Steinfeld maneuver the streets of London in these wildly tall Marc Jacobs boots, it's clear that her Spider-Gwen powers are multidimensional. Though, we hope she has a pair of comfortable shoes waiting for her in her hotel room. Other celebrities who share Steinfeld's runway-worthy superpower include Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Graham, and Kendall Jenner.
