Hervé Leger Shows Support For All Women by Firing Exec After Controversial Comments

Patrick Couderc, the managing director MJH Fashions, a UK distributor of Hervé Leger, has been fired after his controversial comments in which he insisted that women of certain shapes and ages should stay away from the brand's signature bandage dress.

"If you're a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won't want to buy a Leger dress. Lesbians would want to be rather butch and leisurely," he stated. He also noted that older women, "voluptuous" women, and those with "very prominent hips and a very flat chest" should stay away from the designs.

Hervé Leger's bandage dress has been worn by a number of inspiring stars over the years, including Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox, and Kim Kardashian, beautiful women who don't fit Couderc's ideals and shouldn't have to. His comments are completely offensive to the stunning women of all body types who have worn the brand's designs.

But we're glad to see that the brand reacted quickly, stating that they were "shocked and appalled by his comments" adding, "The statements made by Mr. Couderc are not a reflection of Hervé Leger by Max Azria or MJH Fashion ideals or sentiments.
