Kate Middleton knows a thing or two about dressing appropriately for the occasion, and she took that to new heights recently when she and Prince William invited a very special group of teenagers to Kensington Palace. The royal couple played host to the winners and finalists of BBC Radio 1's Teen Hero Award, which celebrates teenagers who are making a difference through things like volunteer work, campaigning, fundraising, advocacy, and community work. It's the third time those in the running for the award have been invited to the palace, and this time it seems like Kate had a sixth sense when it came to her wardrobe choice. She slipped into a chic polka-dot shirtdress from Whistles that perfectly coordinated with a dress worn by one of the young finalists. Jenny Cook, who was photographed chatting to Kate and William, also chose polka dots for the reception, opting for a red and white dress with frills. We're sure the pair shared a giggle over their combined great taste in dresses! Take a look at Kate's (sadly sold out) dress in more detail ahead, then shop some similar styles for yourself.
