Lara Jean Covey may still be in high school in the sequel to Netflix's To All the Boys I've Loved Before, titled P.S. I Still Love You, but her style has certainly graduated. Though the kind-hearted character, portrayed by Lana Condor, still wears plenty of headbands and collared shirts in the just-released installment, she also has a few more unexpected and striking looks. (Yes, we're talking about the tulle, seafoam green dress she wears to the Star Ball.)

"When she walked down the stairs, it was magical."

A bit of backstory about the onscreen style moment: in a recent interview with Fashionista, costume designer Lorraine Carson said the dress originally hailed from J. Mendel's Spring 2019 collection, but because she felt the original design was "too revealing" for the teenage character, Lorraine made some adjustments, which involved taking fabric from the bottom tier to add sleeves. "When she walked down the stairs, it was magical," she said. "It was like a romantic fantasy silhouette and she was stunning."

Unfortunately, the original J. Mendel dress isn't available online, but if you also swooned over Lara Jean's glam look, shop similar tulle gowns ahead. (Oh, and by the way, her suede block heels are an affordable find from Aldo!)
