Any time a celebrity steps out at a red carpet event, one can only assume that she'll be decked out in the most luxurious gown and shoes, all while partaking in photo ops. But Lauren Conrad proved us all wrong this past weekend when she arrived at Paul Mitchell's Baby2Baby Gala.

The Laguna Beach alum attended Saturday night's event wearing a nude Rhea Costa tulle gown that she accessorized with a Cult Gaia clutch bag, Tacori diamond earrings, and a Mio Harutaka snake bracelet. While her look for the night was dreamy, as always, the most stunning part of her ensemble is the detail you can't see in the photos: the surprisingly affordable pair of pumps she wore, which I'm adding to my wardrobe as I write this.

Conrad paired her gown with a pair of strappy, nude pumps from Aldo that retail for $80. The heel — called the Madalene — is a patent leather stiletto with a 5-inch heel and a 1-inch platform. The description on Aldo's website defines the shoe as the "perfect go-to heel for anything from red carpet events to weekend parties," so it's no wonder LC opted for a shoe this simple.
