Melania Trump dresses according to occasion, so when she met China's First Lady Peng Liyuan she chose to wear red. The Valentino dress is a symbolic shade, as red is said to bring good fortune and happiness in Chinese culture. While Melania's exact dress is available to shop for a cool $5,490, she did make a small alternation to her daisy-embellished midi by shortening the skirt hem to fall just below the knee. Perhaps this was her way of showing off her colorful Christian Louboutin heels.

She wasn't the only one to draw style inspo from China though, as Peng Liyuan herself stepped out in a traditional qipao with embroidered navy and purple blossoms. The two women accompanied their husbands for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, FL, as both their outfits paid tribute to China. Prior to the meeting, Melania was spotted in a white-and-black printed bow dress. Scroll on to see Melania's red dress from all angles and then do some shopping of your own if you're inspired.
