Michelle and Barack Obama have landed in London to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday, beginning their trip with a lovely lunch at Windsor Castle. Perhaps it was the festive occasion that led the FLOTUS to wear such a fabulous dress: a two-tone lace number by Oscar de la Renta. Michelle's A-line silhouette is a shortened version of the fashion house's long-sleeved magenta maxi. But that feels just right for a midday snack — we assume Michelle packed a floor-sweeping gown for the evening's state dinner.

Accessorizing her floral look with a patent-leather envelope clutch and mini pumps, along with chandelier earrings and eye-catching rings, Michelle was regal, sophisticated, and bright. We have to hand it to her — she even remembered to cover up with her classic Narciso Rodriguez coat while disembarking the plane. Read on to see Michelle's smart styling, then shop her dress.
