Miley Cyrus's Swimsuit Has So Many Cutouts, Every Tattoo Is on Display

After stealing the spotlight at Versace's star-studded fall 2023 runway show in March, Miley Cyrus solidified her relationship with the brand by tapping the atelier for pieces to wear in her "Jaded" music video, which was released on May 16. Working with her longtime stylist Bradley Kenneth, the 30-year-old star selected dark-wash jeans, an embellished cone-bra top, and, perhaps most reflective of her current style, a multi-cutout high-leg bodysuit — all pieces from the FW23 collection that saw plenty of close-ups in the video.

The bodysuit in particular doubled as swimwear, as Cyrus took a dip in a pool in the formfitting design, which revealed her meaningful collection of tattoos through the holes stacked vertically down the chest and at the sides, extending all the way to her waistline. Cyrus's soaking-wet hair also allowed full attention on her cartilage earrings and her decidedly natural makeup look. While she also wears a gold Norma Kamali one-piece in a few shots, it's a far cry from this sultry number that hails from Versace.

Of course, Cyrus has also tapped into the Milan-based house's archives, choosing vintage dresses for her second annual New Year's Eve special. And, at the Daily Front Row Awards on April 23, she presented Kenneth with an award in a Versace cone-shaped bustier, a leather skirt, and elbow-length gloves, posting the ensemble on Instagram, which spurred Donatella herself to comment, "You are 🔥 Miley!!! 🖤🖤🖤."

While Cyrus has also worn a bodysuit from Alaïa and two Gucci by Tom Ford archival swimsuits — including a white one-shoulder maillot and a red ombré bikini — during her promotion of "Endless Summer Vacation," her latest experimental fashion moment in Versace cutouts for the "Jaded" music video is top of mind.
