Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: Is This Sheer Bridal Jumpsuit the Most "Naked" of Them All?

Sheer wedding gowns enjoyed some well-deserved time in the spotlight last year, but it looks like 2018 may yield some even more daring bridal trends than we anticipated. Barcelona-based bridal shop Pronovias just upped the ante by creating a naked bridal jumpsuit (wow, I never thought I'd type those three words in succession), and it's certainly one of a kind, to say the least.

Spanish actress, TV reporter, and model Cristina Pedroche commissioned Pronovias Creative Director Hervé Moreau to handcraft the skin-baring jumpsuit for a New Year's Eve event she attended this year. It's mostly sheer, save for a few delicate clusters of lace and chantilly oh-so-appropriately situated right where they're needed, leaving very little to the imagination. The masterpiece is so formfitting that it actually looks like the floral designs were painted on Cristina's skin. The revealing jumpsuit also features more than 200 crystals and white button-like detailing near the ankles and wrists. All in all, it took longer than 244 hours to make the jumpsuit — wow!

Cristina styled the custom-made getup with minimal jewelry, white ankle-strap heels, and a red satin dress, which unbuttoned to reveal the jumpsuit underneath. Though Cristina wore the eye-catching ensemble to ring in the new year and not for her actual wedding, the fact that a bridal design house created the number could be an indication that sheer bridal jumpsuits are on the up and up.

Ahead, see Cristina's outfit in all its glory. Would you dare to walk down the aisle on your big day wearing this work of art?
