The recent onslaught of back-to-back award shows challenged celebrities to flaunt their red carpet style, and while some failed, others prevailed. Take, for instance, Evan Rachel Wood. This actress is now a certified red carpet star. The Wrestler actress, and yes, Marilyn Manson's ex, has constantly upped her fashion game and we've taken notice. From decadent tiered frocks to sumptuous silk gowns, Wood amazed us with her exquisite taste and statuesque posing. Check out our slideshow to see all of her amazing red carpet looks!
Golden Globe Awards Ballot Contest: We Have a Winner!
Thanks to everyone who filled out our 2009 Golden Globe Awards ballot! The official kickoff to awards season was a blast, and it was great to have all of you participating in the fun. But as you know, there could only be one winner who's taking home a 160 GB Apple TV and $200 from iTunes (I'm really jealous).
So without further ado, the prize goes to (drum roll!): nicki123! She even sent in an adorable acceptance speech:
"Wow! I didn't expect to win! I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press, my husband, my dog . . . "
Congrats to nicki123 and thanks again to everyone for playing!

What Makes You Love Your Significant Other Even More?
I watched the Golden Globes with a group of loud friends on Sunday so last night, after watching highlights from the big show, I was glad to finally hear Kate Winslet's acceptance speech. Through her emotional words, she was able to passionately tell her husband and director of Revolutionary Road, that she loved every second of working with him on the film and that it made her love him more.
Being able to fall in love with your significant other over and over again must be one of the secrets to having a long-lasting, successful relationship. So tell me, what are the little things that make you love your partner even more than you already do?
Twin Peeps

OK, so they don't look exactly alike, but Renee Zellweger seemed to be channeling Shelly Winters at the Golden Globe Awards the other night. From her odd retro hair to her "meet me at the saloon" sheer black dress, she was Ms. Winters at her most awkward.
Golden Globe Awards Trend Alert: Dramatic Folds and Pleats
Golden Globe Awards Trend Alert: Dramatic Folds and Pleats Ruching, puckering, layering, and folding: The Golden Globes red carpet had dramatic folds and pleats aplenty. Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, and January Jones were all in on it, pulling the look off in varying shapes and colors. And let's not forget Eva Mendes, whose dazzling white Christian Dior gown was elegant in its originality. Care to fall into the fold? Please proceed.
Do You Wish All Awards Shows Were Strictly About Handing Out Awards?
The Golden Globes are so much fun to watch, what with the drinking, rowdiness, and funny mix of beloved movie actors and TV stars. As the show clicked along, it occurred to me that it's still so fun even though there aren't any musical numbers — or even a host!
It's wonderfully efficient, and we get right down to the business of winners and speeches. On the other hand, there's zero opportunity for things like this Josh Groban performance at the Emmys.
So tell me: Do you wish all awards shows slashed the extra stuff the way the Globes does?
