A flash of skin in small doses is never a bad thing — and this season's wispy, ultra-feminine sheer maxi skirt is a surefire way to work the see-through trend without being, well, scandalous. This Rag & Bone pleated silk maxi skirt ($450) is a seemingly tricky investment piece but one that, when carefully styled, can deliver endless options through every season. For those of you ready to show some skin this Spring, here are five ways to wear the barely there sheer maxi skirt.
Glee beauty Lea Michele sure is making her mark on fashion. In case you haven't noticed, she's constantly nailing it. For the recent Tony Award noms announcement, the newly banged brunette wore an LBD with stunning jade jewels. Irene Neuwirth chandeliers, to be exact. Jade looks great against every skin and hair color, especially gingers. For something freshly fabulous, have at these jade pickings.
We can all agree Bosworth's ray print Proenza Schouler dress is epic. But have you ever realized Kate rarely wears jewelry? When she does, I notice. Her mixed metal bangles add extended cool to her black and ice sheath. She opted for a silver medley, but mixed metals work just as well. The key is to stack 'em and play around with textures and widths. In this case, more is more.
This Amrita Singh India Bangles Set ($70, originally $100) is a statement investment. And a pronto way to add bold exoticism to your 'fit. The set shown is gunmetal, but it also comes in silver and gold. $70 for bangles may seem much, but when you break it down — $70 divided by 36 bangles equals $1.95 each — not bad at all. Off to exotic-land I go, you with me?
At her friend's medical school graduation party, jennyjenny was the pastel darling of the night. In that adorable dress, it would be hard not to steal glances left and right. I love everything from the shoulder detail to the color to the floral print. It's spunky, lighthearted, and oh-so-pretty — just the way a cocktail dress ought to be.
Here's what she's wearing:
Dress: Ali Ro
Bangle: Amrita Singh
Shoes: Pedro Garcia

It's so nice to escape the mundaneness of life by taking a vacation. But, sometimes, that's no easy feat. Besides having to book plane tickets, hotels, and figure out activities, we women have to figure out how to take our clothes and accessories there in one piece. Honestly, my main fear after traveling is finding my jewels — like these Amrita Singh Coral Chandelier Earrings ($92) — all tangled up. Gasp! Sound familiar? If so, it's time to prevent it from happening again. P.S. I always recommend you carry your jewelry in your carry-on; I've had jewelry I checked stolen out of my suitcase before, true story.

Jewerly designer Amrita Singh has tapped into an accessories moment with her talent for creating unique stacking bangles. Scores of idle, and incredibly chic women, weigh down their slim arms with Amrita's many options from enamel to wood. We checked in on her offerings at Coterie and got a bit overwhelmed by all the colors on display. Thankfully someone else had already done the choosing for us when it came to her Bangle Bangle line as they were in the gift bag at the eLuxury party. In which case maybe we can do an ROI calculation on the gift bags as we just wrote up the designer. And now we link you to eLuxury's selection.
Here's what she has on:
- Dress: Max Azria Collection
- Belt: Banana Republic
- Shoes: Enzo Angiolini
- Necklace: Borrowed from her Mom
- Ring: Amrita Singh

Even if you don't have a Super Tween in your family, chances are you know a few who will need snazzy gifts this holiday season. Finding the perfect present for a gal between seven and fourteen is difficult because that demographic is usually sassy and picky as hell. Think color, lots and lots of color. And something that will make them stand out — but not like a sore thumb. Remember, it has to be just the right amount of cool and pretty. I know, it's a tall order, but we've got you covered.
