Angelina Jolie hit a high note over the weekend in a gorgeous black Atelier Versace gown at the 2013 Governors Awards. Angelina was joined by Brad Pitt and their son Maddox to accept an award for her vast humanitarian efforts. Is this Angelina's best black dress yet? We'll let you decide.
From coast to coast, party season is in full swing. And while we’re seeing the usual parade of black, white, and vibrant red party dresses — we have a new favorite color trend: navy.
Navy has always been a go-to for men, from suits to chinos and just about everything else, but we've noticed an uptick in ladies in navy, and we like it. Is navy the new black? Perhaps not — just about every color has tried (and failed) to be the new black, but we have to admit that this classic, flattering hue is the perfect antidote to your typical party dress.
Last week, both Gisele Bündchen and Jessica Hart wore gorgeous navy-blue frocks while out in New York, and January Jones was recently snapped striking quite the pose in a navy Chloé dress (at a Chloé runway show, naturally).

It wasn't just Gisele Bündchen's sparkling Atelier Versace number that had us saying, "Wow!" This week, it's safe to say these 10 went there — and we were more than happy to come along for the ride.
From Gisele's plunging, corseted cocktail dress to Selena Gomez's daring Cushnie et Ochs cutouts and Jessica Biel's heavy metal Chanel details, this week wasn't for the timid. Click through to see the looks we loved on some very chic ladies.
Selena Gomez and Versace are turning out to be a red carpet match made in heaven. While the brunette beauty started wearing the label's younger-skewed line, Versus, for performances several years ago, Gomez has graduated to racier ready-to-wear looks from Versace and jaw-dropping couture from Atelier Versace over the past year. From the blue gown she wore at the 2013 MTV VMAs to the pinstripe suit with gold detailing she wore to the Berlin premiere of Spring Breakers (you have to see the open back!) to the latest crop top look she debuted from Versus, we can't get enough of the pairing. Click through to get a closer look at her love affair with all of Donatella Versace's creations.
Lady Gaga is back to her outlandish style antics. She was spotted at Heathrow Airport Monday night in an Atelier Versace Fall 2013 jumpsuit embroidered with black sequins and Swarovski crystals — and not much else. It may have only been last week when we thought that Lady Gaga was turning away from shocking sartorial moments, but it seems like Mother Monster is back in all her outrageous glory, pushing the boundaries with celebrity airport style. We don't know if she'll be pulling out her meat dress anytime soon, but it seems like she's reinterpreting rebellious fashion just in time for ARTPOP's debut.
Welcome to the Love Ball! If you were expecting anything less than over-the-top decadence, royalty, and glamour, then you've come to the wrong place. As was expected, Natalia Vodianova's Monaco-set affair brought a parade of romantic gowns (including Princess Charlene of Monaco's dreamy Atelier Versace design and Princess Caroline of Hanover's embroidered lace Chanel Haute Couture confection) for the gala dinner and auction — which brought in €3.2 million (about $4.2 million) to benefit the Naked Heart Foundation.
Inside the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, guests were treated to performances by Maestro Valery Gergiev and Diana Vishneva of St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Orchestra and Ballet under the artistic direction of Vasily Barkhatov. Step inside, and enjoy the show!
What a way to kick off Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week with Naomi Campell leading a parade of supermodels in her first appearance on a Versace catwalk since Gianni Versace's death in 1997, according to Style.com. In a tweet signed "DV," Donatella Versace explained, "I wanted a sexy and sophisticated woman with a strong attitude. Only a true icon like Naomi Campbell could open this show.'" And she not only sent out a parade of strong, skin-baring pieces in a moody palette of sapphire, ebony, and amethyst, but also a strong message on the viability of couture.
Peek-a-boo gowns were made for major red carpet moments (a fact not lost on front row attendees Emma Roberts and Uma Thurman), while suits and sliced-apart dresses had crystal-studded hook-and-eye details that recall this year's punk theme as well as one of the house's traditional tropes. While critics of couture can complain that it's dusty and stuck in the past, Donatella took a definitive stand for slick modernity.
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards red carpet was red hot, with Selena Gomez leading the pack. The singer was one of the first to arrive — and she did so in an eye-catching neon-infused Atelier Versace gown from the label's Spring '13 collection. Also in the mix? Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Chloë Moretz, Hayden Panettiere, and a very sexy Jennifer Morrison. Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Click through to see who wore what at the Billboard Music Awards.

Selena Gomez, one of the most anticipated stars expected on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet, did us all a favor by showing up early and ending the style curiosity over what she'd wear. The star stayed true to her love of Atelier Versace by picking a white dress from the house accented with zippers and neon tubing at the neck, shoulders, and back. A sexy sheer slash straight down the middle provided a bit of sizzle, too. Do you like the bold embellishments and color palette?
>> Atelier Versace kicked off couture week with a star-studded front row, a supermodel-packed runway, and their first couture offering since 2004. Karlie Kloss, Lindsey Wixson, Arizona Muse, Karmen Pedaru, and Josephine Skriver were among those who modeled the 15-look collection, which was heavy on corseted metallic gowns, hot orange and lime minidresses, and futuristic detailing. "You know I’m a sucker for anything glittery," commented Cameron Diaz, who — along with Diane Kruger, Abbie Cornish, and Anna Dello Russo — attended the show.
