Chanel's makeup department pays tribute to the legendary fashion photographer Erwin Blumenfeld in a new video about its Rouge Allure lipsticks. Like Blumenfeld's iconic January 1950 cover of Vogue, this Solve Sundsbo-directed clip features nothing more than a pair of red lips and green eyes. The rest of model Barbara Palvin's visage fades in with the one-minute video's cream background. While Goldfrapp's "Strict Machine" plays in the background, Palvin's lip color changes to reveal the other shades in the collection. The curvy, pouty obsession continues. Hungarian model Barbara Palvin had a huge year in 2010, appearing in at least 15 editorials and making her runway debut last February as an exclusive to Prada. The 18-year-old model has the curves of Lara Stone and eyes and lips like Natalia Vodianova. Also like Natalia, her look can transition instantly from teenage innocence and sweetness to grown-up vixen. We expect this year to be even bigger for Barbara, and we can't wait to see where she walks for upcoming Fall 2011 shows.
