Trend Alert: Bright-Ass Bags

Who is this mystery woman and who designed her bright-ass bag?

Who is this mystery woman and who designed her bright-ass bag? That would be Fab fave Anne Hathaway on the streets of NYC and Chanel. Double trouble. Anne was obviously in a dress-down mood — black leggings, cute flats, a simple striped top — but behold a gorgeous, plush turquoise Chanel. Anne always requires a slice of glam and her bag baby is as delicious as blueberry pancakes. Pass the syrup.

Trend Alert: Aztec Techno

Magnificent. Simply magnificent. In my humble op, model Arlenis Sosa was best-dressed at the Topshop opening preparty in NYC.

Magnificent. Simply magnificent. In my humble op, model Arlenis Sosa was best-dressed at the Topshop opening preparty in NYC. Her aztec techno dress is club-ready, while she humbled it with a smart black satin blazer. A sleek pony let her gorgeous face shine. No frills, completely Fab. Take Arlenis's lead and choose one vibrant piece to lead the pack in.

This Week's Fab Favorite: Rosario Dawson

Rosario in Bottega. A winning combination.

Rosario in Bottega. A winning combination. We were pleasantly surprised by Rosario's choice to wear this monochrome Bottega Veneta look to the LA premiere of her new movie Seven Pounds. Rarely do stars attempt monochrome, and sexy monchrome at that. The camel one-sleeve crepe dress is a rare find, but the fact that it complements her skin tone so perfectly is what sealed the deal. Her crisscrossed camel Jimmy Choo sandals continued the fluid movement. To be sure she wasn't washed out, exotic Neil Lane for Arcade turquoise earrings framed her beautiful face. Speaking of framing her beautiful face, learn how to create the illusion of short hair. The other jewelry — thin gold bangles — gently sat on her wrist. Perfection personified.

Memorial Day weekend I kicked up some major waves water skiing!

Memorial Day weekend I kicked up some major waves water skiing! This was a sporty little excursion so my outfit had to reflect my outdoorsy, but equally Fab, nature. Who says tomboys aren't cute?! I started you off with these Havaianas Slim Season Flip Flop ($23) because the gold floral motif kept me looking pretty while I splish-splashed about.

Let's see what you all came up with!

Look # 1, created by Ashley2007, is classy and chic. I love the white and gold accessories.

Trend Alert: The Weave

I have always been drawn to the weave.

I have always been drawn to the weave. I think it's my lifelong adoration for Bottega Veneta (see amazing Spring wedge at left) and its luxurious woven leathers. Because Bottega has been around for so long, many copy cats have chimed in on the earthy motif. On shoes, this style is ideal — it's interesting, cool and slightly '70s — right up my alley.
