Lindsay Lohan was in Paris last night to attend the 90 Years of Vogue Covers party at the Hotel Crillon. It was an evening off from her preparations for the upcoming Ungaro show, which will take place this Sunday during the city's Fashion Week. Other presentations have been taking place in the French capital since Wednesday, bringing out a range of stars from Rihanna to Adrian Grenier. LL has been busy inviting pals to see her debut collection as Ungaro's artistic adviser, as well as overseeing the progress on her 6126 leggings line.

Yves Saint Laurent

>> Carine Roitfeld Still Loves Tom Ford's Womenswear From 2003 —Tom Ford and his muse when he was designing Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, Carine Roitfeld, must still think along the same lines: just as it's hinted that he's preparing to make a return into womenswear, she's pulled a skirt out he designed for Yves Saint Laurent's Fall 2003 collection — leaving much of her flank exposed through side lace panels — and worn it during both New York and London Fashion Weeks.

Say What? Gorgeous Model Doesn't Want to Be "Fat" Anymore

"I don’t want to be the fat one anymore, so I have just started doing Pilates every morning, then going to the gym, running and swimming."

"I don’t want to be the fat one anymore, so I have just started doing Pilates every morning, then going to the gym, running and swimming."

Model Lara Stone, adored by French Vogue's editor Carine Roitfeld and famed for her amazing curves and the sexy gap between her front teeth. Clearly, the prevailing uberskinny look in fashion can make even women with bodies most of us would die for feel insecure. Don't do it, Lara!

Mary-Kate and Lauren Keep the Fashionable Week Going

The Fashion Week glamour is moving right along, with more star-studded front rows.

The Fashion Week glamour is moving right along, with more star-studded front rows. Lauren Conrad switched gears from working on her own collection to see Nanette Lepore this afternoon, while Leighton Meester stepped out for 3.1 Phillip Lim. Mary-Kate Olsen, meanwhile, was on hand last night for the latest of Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld's art parties, helping when someone fainted while Rachel Zoe kept an eye on Brad Goreski on the dance floor. Rachel then moved on to a party at the Museum of Modern Art with Josh Hartnett and Bar Refaeli, who you guys don't seem to think has found a match in Chace Crawford.

Fab Blab: Carine Roitfeld on Anna Wintour's Job

Carine Roitfeld has revealed that she won't stay at Vogue Paris for much longer.

Carine Roitfeld has revealed that she won't stay at Vogue Paris for much longer. But what will she do? She hinted at filmmaking during a recent chat with the French Le Journal du Dimanche. When asked if one day she will succeed Anna Wintour as American Vogue editor, she said: "I would consider it, but I think I would refuse it. I’m not sure I have her strength. . . . Anna Wintour shows fashion and the collections. She sees everything and imposes her choices. Myself, I leave room for a lot of points of view." After seeing The September Issue, yep, that sounds about right.

Tom Ford

>> Carine Roitfeld Credits Tom Ford with Her Icon-Making Style — Carine Roitfeld says she's over the big, shaggy fur coat she has worn repeatedly the past 12 months, but she's re-embraced handbags and is looking for a "a black, belted, slightly military coat, just below the knee; a black cape — 'not too fantastical'; and a velvet pencil skirt ('always on the knee, no one has ever designed the perfect velvet pencil skirt')" this season, the Times UK writes.

"It wasn’t until I started to work for Gucci in the Nineties that it started to become clear to me. And that’s because Tom Ford was pushing me to do the dark eye make-up, to wear high heels and to keep things very simple and lean.” [Times UK]

Streetstyle Photog Couple Snag More Vogue Space: The Sartorialist with Vogue Italia, Garance Dore with Vogue Paris

>> Scott "The Sartorialist" Schuman, whose first book came out last week, is about to add another Vogue edition to his resume: Vogue Italia.  Schuman has photographed for Vogue Paris in the past — Carine Roitfeld is a fan — and seems to have won over Franca Sozzani: he recently shot Rachel Rutt for Vogue Italia. His girlfriend and fellow streetstyle photographer Garance Dore has also been amping up her reach: this Fall, she will have more frequent contributions on Vogue Paris's website and perhaps in the magazine, focusing on the magazine's "Une fille, un style" ("A girl, a style") column, plus "behind-the-scenes coverage of fashion shoots, profiles of stylish women around the world in collaboration with French Vogue editor in chief Carine Roitfeld and other subjects of her choosing."

And last week, Patrick Robinson announced that Garance would be collaborating with Gap on an exhibit in their London pop-up next month, with her sketches (like the one above, left) on T-shirts.

Lara Stone Scores Second Vogue Paris Cover This Year — For September 2009 — By Going Brunette

>> So it turns out Vogue Paris's September 2009 cover — the one that was rumored to feature a "radical model makeover" — does boast Lara Stone, as suspected, complete with eyebrows (hers are normally bleached) and dark brown hair.  The image, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, marks the second this year Carine Roitfeld has devoted to Lara — the first fronting the February 2009 issue, in which she was the only model.

Vogue Paris, Three Stylists Turn Out 65 Pages Worth of Models in Iconic Brand Looks

>> Some thought that Vogue Paris's August 2009 cover with Daria Werbowy all decked out in Burberry check looked too blatantly like an advertisement, but in the context of Inez van Lamweerde and Vinoodh Matadin's 65-page accompanying editorial inside — with a plethora of models, each embodying a different brand's identity — it all makes sense.

It's a few of the magazine's usual suspects — Anja Rubik doing Gucci's "glam star" in fauxhawk, Kamila Filipcikova striking an eyepopping McQueen silhouette — plus a few new faces like Regina Feoktistova and Ranya Mordanova in Gianfranco Ferre and Junya Watanabe, respectively.  The trifecta of stylists that produced these images — Joe McKenna, Emmanuelle Alt, Carine Roitfeld — prove that there is creativity to be found within the bounds of a studio shoot, after all.
