“This year, it was really about fashion hitting the streets,” Trey Laird, who developed the segment, told WWD. “It was important that all of New York City was represented.” Thus, filming locations included PS 1 in Long Island City, the Bronx Zoo, Central Park, and Lincoln Center. Tabitha Simmons styled the shoot (behind the scenes images here), and the resulting 30-, 15-, and 10-second spots launch on television, in taxi cabs, and online today. From Sept. 3 to 10, they will be shown nine times an hour on the Toshiba screen in Times Square.

Last night's Mulberry-sponsored party celebrating the launch of Venetia Dearden's book Glastonbury, Another Stage at Milk Studios's penthouse was chock-full of statuesque revelers, though two models in particular seemed to steer clear of each other. Agyness Deyn stayed ensconced with a group of friends, while on the other side of the bash her ex-fiance Albert Hammond, Jr. held hands — possibly in a friendly way? — with Irina Lazareanu. Elsewhere, Alek Wek and Jacquelyn Jablonski mingled near Chanel Iman and her boyfriend Ryan Leslie. Leigh Lezark and Michelle Trachtenberg arrived together and stayed attached at the hip throughout the night. In the spirit of Venetia's publication, the event was complete with an indoor teepee and there was music aplenty. Brooklyn's Chairlift was the main attraction, with London socialite Jackson Scott's flamenco guitar act Mano de Dios as the opener.

Fab Exclusive! The Scoop on Chanel Iman's Mom's Culver City Boutique

After hearing that Chanel Iman's mom, China, is opening a store called Red Bag Boutique in Culver City, CA, I took a Fab field trip to check it out.

After hearing that Chanel Iman's mom, China, is opening a store called Red Bag Boutique in Culver City, CA, I took a Fab field trip to check it out. Contrary to original reports, it's not yet open for business — managers were setting up but splurging starts mid-May.

Chanel grew up only minutes away from the plaza where the boutique is located on Jefferson Boulevard. In fact, she was there helping mere hours before I arrived. The idea is to bring Beverly Hills and Melrose to Culver City. Not only has the model already worn pieces from her mom's store, but there's also going to be a special rack full of Chanel-approved pieces. Red Bag Boutique will carry everything from high-end to affordable pieces in order to appeal to a variety of everyday women. For those ladies not in the Southern California area, fret not — TheRedBagBoutique.com will offer ecommerce soon!

>> Last week, rumors of a major shift in the New York modeling agency setup floated around; eventually, it came out that Paul Rowland, the founder of Women Management and its Supreme offshoot, was leaving Supreme to head up the women's division at Ford.

According to Page Six's industry insider, Rowland, who sold the company which he founded in 1988 a few years ago, "had a huge salary there, but wasn't really getting along with management. So basically, he just left." Ford "cleaned house and canned everyone," says another source, to make way for Rowland and the agents he was bringing with him.

Caroline Poznanski, meanwhile, who ran Ford's women's division until Rowland's arrival, has been chosen by Supreme to take Rowland's old job. "It's one big game of musical chairs," reports the source. "There were rumors around that Supreme was just going to close, but instead they hired Poznanski and absorbed some other people who had been let go from Ford."

One booker notes: "The models at these places are in a tailspin. A lot, including [Ford girls] Chanel Iman and Jacquelyn Jablonski, don't know if they're staying or going. There will likely be a spate of lawsuits because both Paul and Caroline are trying to bring their girls over, but they have noncompetes in their contracts."

Valentine's Day Exclusive! Chanel Iman Hearts Her Boyfriend and Her Chanel Bags

Chanel Iman is a sweetheart.

Chanel Iman is a sweetheart. So it's perfectly fitting I caught up with her on Valentine's Day. Wearing a tank that proudly stated "I Heart My Boyfriend" the Modelinia magazine cover star just arrived for New York Fashion Week — best friend and boyfriend in tow.

Today, the model/skateboarder is walking in the Diane Von Furstenberg show, tonight she has romantic plans with her man. Want to hear all about Chanel's obsession with Chanel bags — she even has a design idea for one, Karl — and who she's looking forward to walking for this week? Here she is . . .

What's new and exciting with you?

I'm just happy it's Valentine's Day and I get to spend it with someone I love and we're in New York. We're both from LA so we're going to make the best of it.

And is this your red Chanel bag to match your Valentine's Day outfit?

Yes, and I had red lips on, like my best friend over there (points to her), but I took it off because it smeared in the taxi. But I'm going to put it back on.

And then it will come back off later when you're with your boyfriend . . .

Exactly.
