>> Erickson Beamon's latest diffusion collection, for online jewelry boutique BaubleBar, is now available online. The seven-piece collection features brightly colored bracelets, earrings, and necklaces — all in the storied jewelry brand's signature playful-glam aesthetic — at super-accessible prices. Crystal chandelier earrings are $65, and a multichain faux-pearl and crystal necklace — the collection's most expensive piece — is $200. “I’m drawn to the populuxe concept, where luxurious jewels are available at price points every girl can afford," explains Karen Erickson. This line marks the second diffusion collaboration for the brand; the first was with Target in 2009. "The funny thing that we learned when we did Target is that an Erickson Beamon fan is an Erickson Beamon fan.” See the whole collection — available now through Dec. 31 — here in the slideshow.

Why We Covet: What else would we pair with our white Summer tees? A big statement necklace is the quickest way to dress up a casual Summer outfit, and we love the richness of this necklace. We've also been seeing a lot of green jewelry (read: emeralds) on celebs lately, so this is the right time to go green, in the bejeweled sense.

Don't try to tell us you've never dreamed of being a pirate and/or finding that big trunk of treasure, á la best-movie-ever The Goonies or Pirates of the Caribbean. In the spirit of those messy, dazzling heaps of jewels, we found 10 necklaces that conjure dreams of pirates' booty and fantastic-sized jewels. And yes, you're a grown-up now, but try these necklaces with a minimal cocktail dress and at the very least you'll inspire that other childhood fantasy of being a princess.
>> Give your look an instant Spring pop with some appropriately cool jewels. We're currently coveting a range of simple to standout pieces from the likes of Eddie Borgo, J.Crew, Erickson Beamon, and Marc by Marc Jacobs. We may not need a pair of tropical punch earrings or an accordion pleat necklace, but who cares — that's what makes these eye-catching creations so great. Check out the slideshow for more of our favorites.
We've come to know and love Erickson Beamon for its in-your-face rhinestone baubles. For designers Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon, bigger and chunkier is always better. But for Fall '11, the duo have outdone themselves with eye-catching — pun intended — rhinestone masks. They're definitely intriguing to look at, but I'm not so sure they're translatable to the streets or even comfortable. What do you think — are these Erickson Beamon masks freaky or fabulous?
It has come to my attention that I am an accessory addict — and online shopping site Charm & Chain offers a carefully edited, supereclectic collection of jewelry that totally feeds my habit. They've got goodies from my perennial faves, like Fallon, Erickson Beamon, and House of Harlow 1960, but also feature up-and-coming designers, which gives the site a unique edge. Even better: you can also search Charm & Chain products through ShopStyle. Click through to see which Charm & Chain baubles I'm coveting most, then head over to the site to get your own wish list going.
