Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova donned sexy black dresses to attend watch brand IWC Schaffhausen's party at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie last night in Geneva, Switzerland. The models were joined by Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey as well as Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane for the event. Karolina also donned a bright red ensemble, while Adriana emerged in a black-and-white dress to pose for the festivities. Adriana made the trip overseas after taking care of modeling duties for Victoria's Secret. Adriana and Erin Heatherton launched VS's new fitness line together at the brand's Herald Square NYC store last week. Ewan, meanwhile, traveled to Switzerland following his appearance at the Golden Globes earlier this month, when he was nominated for Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.

Karolina Kurkova showed off two fabulous looks at a Swiss bash last night, but it was her red-and-blue ensemble that made our colorblock-loving hearts skip a beat. The supermodel started with a silky red button-down and red leather pants — both by Joseph — which was a bold pairing on its own — then things got even more thrilling when she finished off with unexpected cobalt pumps. It makes us want to fuse red and blue, pronto. Only caveat? How to work the palette without looking like you're dressed for the Fourth of July. I know what you're thinking — it's easy for a svelte model to pull this look off, but can I? Yes, you can; just keep these tips and trick in tow to make it work:

It takes a certain amount of confidence to wear brights like this, but once you've nailed that, that's half the battle.

There were many standout accessories that celebrities showed off this year — wide-brim fedoras, top designer handbags, cat-eye sunglasses — but the one that swept the top slot was the sneaker. Everyone from Marion Cotillard to Gisele Bundchen to Irina Shayk to many more famous faces wore their favorite sporty sneakers from the likes of Isabel Marant and Ash with everything from jeans to leather pants to dresses to skirts. We have yet to see if the trend will live on in 2013, but in the meantime, take a look back at all the celebs that sported sneakers in 2012.

That doesn't mean that they were all dressed up — looks from favorites like Gwyneth Paltrow, Karolina Kurkova, and Kristen Stewart ran the gamut from the cool and casual (we're looking at you, Karolina) to the more polished cocktail wares we saw from both Gwyneth and Kristen. Karolina Kurkova knows how to stun on the red carpet — it kind of comes with the territory of being a gorgeous leggy model — but her appearance at last night's Prix Montblanc in Berlin actually rendered us speechless. And if we're being completely honest, her creamy beige Carlos Miele Spring '13 gown inspired our current hunt for the perfect Fall wedding dress, too. We love that she paired the satin bodice-meets-flowing chiffon skirt silhouette with a darker wine-colored lip and smoky eye. It struck us as autumnal-themed, moody, and romantic, to say the least. And as a whole, it just worked. As we see more and more starlets donning nontraditional wedding dresses for their big day (Jessica Biel and Anne Hathaway certainly come to mind), it seems only appropriate that we include this particularly gorgeous look in this burgeoning, slightly off-the-cuff trend. If you're as taken with this potential wedding dress option as we are — or see it as a potential scene-stealing holiday party option — we think a cream-colored Mongolian fur cropped jacket and a vintage-inspired veil would top it off perfectly.
