Last night was the famous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and while the runway festivities looked super fun, we're more interested in what the models wore post catwalk. In particular, we love the way Cara Delevingne, Miranda Kerr, and Lily Donaldson rocked unique little black dresses. Cara exuded edgy glam, Miranda was nothing but sexy, and Lily mixed rough with soft. If you need some inspiration on how to breathe life into your black dresses, get a closer look at these VS beauties, then shop their looks — including Lily's exact dress! — for yourself.
Alexa Chung, Sofia Coppola, and Clemence Poesy were among those who braved the rain Monday night to fete Acne Paper's Issue 14. Held at New York's storied Four Seasons Restaurant, the champagne-filled soiree featured live jazz from the Blue Velvet quintet, while music stands placed around the room showcased copies of the paper. At 272 pages, it's the magazine's biggest issue yet, and also the first time it's been entirely dedicated to a single locale. "We could have chosen London, Paris, Berlin, or any other city of cosmopolitan importance, but we took Manhattan," editor in chief Thomas Persson explained. "During our many visits to the Big Apple we have had the great fortune of befriending a number of wonderful people who have only taken a keen interest in our publication but who have also helped shape it." Perhaps some of those friends were also in attendance — we spied fashion vets Simon Doonan, Lily Donaldson, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Olivier Theyskens, and Monique Pean all there and having a pretty grand time. An inside look at all the fun, here.

Lily Donaldson's editorial in the Fall 2012 issue of Dossier magazine is just as inspiring as the photograph of her that graces the cover. Shot by Skye Parrott and styled by Donaldson's best friend, Emilie Kareh, the images capture Donaldson inside and outside of her home wearing pieces from Viktor & Rolf, Thakoon, and Jil Sander. The issue, which will be on newsstands this week, also promises contributions from Yayoi Kusama (of the recent Louis Vuitton collaboration), Roman Coppola, and Marianne Faithfull, among others. For now, a look at Donaldson's full editorial here in the gallery.

The 2012 London Olympics have come to a close! The closing ceremony wrapped up in London last night, and there were many famous Brits who took part in the fun. The theme was a celebration of British music, and British bands Muse, the Spice Girls, George Michael, The Who, and even the guys of One Direction were on stage! The production included a particularly optimistic note from Monty Python's Eric Idle with "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life."
There was also a tribute to British fashion, with models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Karen Elson strutting their stuff. The royals were in attendance to see the spectacle, with Kate Middleton and Prince Harry having prime seats. Check out all the closing ceremony pictures here!
Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Georgia May Jagger, and a slew of other famous British models turned the London Olympics closing ceremony into one of the world's most-watched runway shows Sunday night. The models — each clad in different metallic gold designs from some of the best designers working in London — were wheeled into the ceremony inside billboard-sized photos of themselves while David Bowie's song "Fashion" filled Olympic Stadium. The images were stripped away to reveal the live models, who walked to the center of the field to glitter and pose in front of the very global audience for a few moments before walking out.

"It's such an amazing platform for the brand, having billions and billions of people watching," said Christopher Kane, who spent some 80 hours working on the coat and pants Stella Tennant wore during the ceremony. "That's another reason why I wanted to do something different, instead of a dress."

Sam McKnight, who worked on the models' hair, observed that the closing ceremony "was about British icons, not just athletics." Jourdan Dunn, who walked the runway in a dress by Jonathan Saunders, called the evening the "highlight of my career so far." Karen Elson said she couldn't "begin to express how much I love Naomi, Kate, Georgia," and the other models who walked with her. Makeup artist Val Garland called the fashion portion of the show "the best moment ever!"

Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Erdem, and other British fashion houses also created outfits for the occasion. A look at who wore what here in the gallery.
Naomi Campbell welcomed fashionable friends like Kate Moss to a Fashion For Relief charity dinner held at London's Downtown Mayfair restaurant last night. The dinner, held as an Olympic celebration, came just before a rumored appearance at Sunday's closing ceremony for Naomi and Kate. They're apparently walking in a portion of the show dedicated to British style, and will don outfits from UK designers.
Both Naomi and Kate are home in London following exotic getaways. Naomi was just in Ibiza for a bikini-clad yacht vacation, and Kate wore a swimsuit cruising around the Mediterranean with her husband, Jamie Hince. Last night, Kate donned a black and gold caftan while Naomi made the rounds in black Roberto Cavalli. They models said hi to Sarah Ferguson, Lily Donaldson, Rolling Stone Ron Wood, and designers Vivienne Westwood and Sarah Burton.
