Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen don't need to be in the same apartment to feel the same fashion vibes. Through the power of twin synergy, both sisters were spotted leaving their own separate cribs wearing fresh Spring scarves. Mary-Kate paired her red houndstooth print scarf — check out that cool European loop — with cuffed leather trousers, oxfords, cat-eye sunnies, and a wool coat. Ashley kept it casual and donned a green scarf with a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans, leopard flats, an olive tee, round sunnies, and a navy cardi. So tell me: which Olsen wore her Spring scarf better?
Once in a while we witness a rare fashion occurrence. What we have here are two dynamic sister design duos. All blond, all beautiful, in similar complementary looks. Sienna and Savannah Miller presented their Twenty8Twelve Fall collection last week in a LND and LBD, sheer tights, and funky footwear. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen showed off their sharp styles last night at a JC Penney party; they belted their structured black and navy ensembles, and, as per usual, brought forth severe shoes. It's uncanny, and you must decide: Which sister duo is more dressed to impress?
Storm, what storm? It takes more than a little snow to stop some of NYC's best from partying the night away. Following the Chanel Rouge Coco dinner, models, celebs, and fashion folk kept the night alive at Interview Magazine's 40th anniversary issue party at the Hudson Hotel’s new club, Good Units. "I can remember when this hotel opened, but I've never been down here," said Naomi Campbell. "I love it, though. I love the dancing — it reminds me of the eighties." Derek Blasberg, Kate Bosworth, and Proenza Schouler's Lazaro Hernandez sure look like they're having a fine fashion moment. Check out the rest of the partygoers!

Now that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have their high-end line, The Row, and sassy sportswear collection, Elizabeth and James, the two decided to create a line with the throwback tomboy girl in mind. Their latest designer endeavor, called Textile Elizabeth and James, was inspired by their own jean collection and focuses on '70s-inspired denim with styles like the Hendrix, Stevie, and Joni. All of which were inspired by their music muses.Right now, the collection is small, comprising three pieces, but the duo has plans to launch a complete collection come Fall. "We’re talking about the favorite things you want to wear with your jeans, like the ultimate flannel shirt," said Jane Siskin, of Elizabeth and James. The Olsens' denim offerings wholesale for a little over $100 and will be available at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Intermix in March. Are you interested?
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are looking to highlight their first fashion baby: The Row. The design duo just launched TheRow.com and plan on presenting at New York Fashion Week next month for the first time. The site is minimal, as to be expected, complementing the line's clean lines and luxury approach. You can find the newly launched eyewear collection, as well as menswear and Spring/Summer and Pre-Fall womenswear — Pre-Fall is looking very smart, very chic. Soon enough you'll be able to shop the site, in the meantime, peruse the latest The Row.
When Ashley and Mary-Kate aren't busy traveling, the two are most likely collaborating on their clothing lines. Our favorite is Elizabeth and James. There are many reasons to love E&J, I'll give you 10: amazing footwear, tailored silk blazers, cool skirts, casual luxe sweaters, you get the gist. Timeless cool-girl pieces — like this yummy Elizabeth and James Mason Suede Pump ($350) — you'll want to wear over and over again. Check out our top 10 loves!
Tim Burton was the man of the hour at the MoMA exhibit paying tribute to his amazing work and imagination in NYC yesterday. He had Helena Bonham Carter on one arm and his good friend Johnny Depp on the other as stars came out to celebrate Tim. With fans already excited for Alice in Wonderland, Tim's art lined the walls at the museum. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were among the attendees as was Ashley Greene who looked refreshed in an LBD despite a long week of New Moon promotion including Monday's big premiere. She looked amazing as usual — check out how to get her makeup look here — and made us smile on the red carpet with her adorable personality. Overall, Tim's big night at the MoMA lived up to his eccentric personality and amazing talent with an exhibit that his fans can now enjoy.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had the layers piled on Tuesday when they arrived at LAX. They're back in California after a few weeks in NYC, where they debuted their new Olsenboye range for JC Penny on Good Morning America. The twins also took to the city streets in a customized treat truck to show off their line, which is set to include bags and shoes as well. The collection will be more moderately priced than The Row or Elizabeth and James, as the newly-minted CFDA members continue expanding their empire.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen smiled big this morning after appearing on Good Morning America in NYC. The sisters were on the morning show to talk about their new juniors line Olsenboye, which will be sold exclusively at JCPenney stores next month. Mary-Kate and Ashley have their hands full fashion-wise, especially with The Row's recent foray into eyewear. Ashley opened up about their brands at a forum last week, even going on to discuss their ambitious plans to continue expanding.

On to the next. The rumors are true: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a juniors line for JCPenney. Olsenboye makes total sense: the sisters began their retailer endeavors in the junior market — it's not to be forgotten.
The line will debut in 600 stores in February, but an innovative marketing campaign will kick off today for three days via an Olsenboye “treat truck” cruising around NYC selling clothes and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins. The Olsen’s will be making a surprise appearance on one of the three days. As well, empty racks in 50 high-profile stores will be covered in Olsenboye samplings. Come Nov. 6, Olsenboye will be sold on jcp.com and in those 50 stores, including the Manhattan flagship, for a limited time. Updates and a teaser video can be viewed on Olsenboye.com.
The retail prices will range $20 to $50 for casual sportswear and accessories that includes denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes. Super cool: it will dabble in travel-inspired mini collections, each reflecting the looks and trends of different cities.
What does Ashley say about the news: “Mary-Kate and I watch current trends and see our partnership with JCPenney as an opportunity to add something unique to the marketplace, especially in the current retail climate. Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand and we feel this collaboration complements and strengthens our business portfolio, delivering trend-based fashion at affordable prices.”
